Android 6 - cannot open app url from chrome

I had setup intent filter in manifest.xml, such as follows:

When I execute 'am start http://www.gifto.net/go.php?c=xlh201' application successfully opens with required data. But, when same URL opened via Chrome, just server page opens. In the android 4 in both cases my app was able to start from this url. What I must fix in android 6?

Chrome for Android, versions 25 and later, you should implement a user gesture to launch the app via a custom scheme, or use the “intent:” syntax described in this article.

Android deep linking works in ADB, but not browser

I am trying to add deep linking to my app. I have added 2 intent filters to one of my activities, one filter for the "http" scheme, and another for my custom scheme (I'm using "example"). I have added one intent filter per scheme, based on the info in this SO (Deep-linking intent does not work), so that I can handle both example://test and http://www.example.com/test type of links.
Here is my XML:

They are loading correctly when I test in ADB:
adb shell am start -W -a android.intent.action.MAIN -d "example://test2" com.myapp.myapp
returns

However, I get absolutely nothing in a browser. When I try this in a browser:
"example://test2" in FF I get "couldn't find an app to open this link" and in Chrome and the Native Browser, it opens up new Google search for "example://test2".
When I try the other style: "http://www.example.com/test2" it just tries to navigate to that web page in all 3 browsers.
I am deploying the app to my phone from Android Studio. I have also tried by generating a debug APK, sending it to my phone, and installing. Same result for both.
What am I doing wrong? I've followed the guide (https://developer.android.com/training/app-indexing/deep-linking.html) to the letter as far as I can tell. Does my app need to be in the store for the deep linking to work?

Ughh, my action was MAIN when it should have been VIEW...

Your implementation seems to be correct and also, if you're testing your app in your device, it does not need to be available on Playstore.
Have you tried testing through a QR code? As is demonstrated in Google documents - https://developers.google.com/app-indexing/android/test

The scheme (and probably host) have to be in all lower case.
From the uni_link package i copied the deep link intent filter:

and pasted in my package name com.myPackage.app as the scheme. For the host I put localhost.
Changing the scheme to all lower case com.mypackage.app allowed the deep link to work.
You can use this site to test the deep link without using adb.
PS: This is not true for iOS where the CFBundleURLName and CFBundleURLSchemes can contain uppercase letters.

Link from Android browser to my application not working

I want from the android browser be able to launch my application if it's installed, or launch my website in the other case.
So in order to make it work, I put :

I've tried with meetme://datas and change the scheme; nothing worked.

Android Intent-Filter for Multi Screen

I want to launch my application from web browser in Android using Intent-Filter based on scheme, host in the DATA tag like this.

As you see, There are two Main Activities for phone and tablet, and in LogoActivity determine which Main Activity will be opened by screen size. But the problem is when user clicks my://mystore link in web browser, there are two choices to launch that MainActivtyPhone and MainActivityTablet.
What I want is there is only one proper intent-filter works for uri my://mystore .

On the first run of your application, use PackageManager to disable the activity you do not want to use.
Please do not invent custom schemes. Please use HTTP URLs instead:
<data android:scheme="http" android:host="yourdomain.com" android:path="/something/or/another" />
That way, you can actually put a real Web page at http://yourdomain.com/something/or/another, so if somebody gets your link but does not have your app installed, they will see your Web page, instead of getting an error.
Also, please remove android:configChanges, or handle all configuration changes.

Could not launch application by calling a URL from Android Browser

There are many answers in stackoverflow showing how to lauch app from a web browser ,but I am not sure what went wrong with my code, that never seems to be doing the intended.
I am trying to launch my app by a URL from any other app like web browser,initially
my manifest file looks like this

But most of the answers here says that the later is possible.What is the mistake i am doing,I couldn't launch my app from browser.Please guide me.

It gets started when a matching link is clicked not when you type the url in the browser.
Try it by sending yourself an email containing http://ebay.com and click the link in the email application.
