Layout_height doesn't want to gradually wrap contents when fragment are being used

What i want to accomplish is to create rating section like Google Play Store, i managed to display all the stars and review(for user to comment) but whenever the user type on it, the layout height of the RelativeLayout on my activity doesn't wrap the layout of the fragment within a fragment. I tried changing the height in any means, but still nothing solve the problem. The thing is when i make my TabLayout visible, it follows the height, but not my custom ViewPager.
I do not know whether i did it right or wrong or entirely impossible, please show me the right way. Thank you.

The RelativeLayout with id "ratingSection" in ratingSactivity_view_item.xml should follow the height of FrameLayout in fragment_rating_review.xml
This shouldn't happen.

edittext must move up on the top of the keyboard without moving other views

[This is the image i need to move up only edittext not the logo ][1]edittext appearing on the top of the keyboard after setting windowSoftInputMode but other views also moving up. is their any way to move only edittext .Thanks in advance

Android Layout with Scrollview not at bottom - Fragment

What am I doing wrong that I can't get my "toolbar" to show up at the bottom of the screen (the free and post buttons)? I'm having to wrap this all inside a scroll view so that the keyboard will shift the view when displayed.

UPDATE: Sorry I should have stated that the FREE and POST buttons must be at the bottom of the screen and maintain their size.

Your toolbar is wrapped in a RelativeLayout which is wrapped in another RelativeLayout of which layout_height is set to wrap_content, here it is:

Try changing this to match_parent and see if it works.

Why not use linearLayout as the child of scrollView? And set fillViewport property of the scrollView to true to stretch it's contents. Try this code:

Android - EditText isn't filling up available space in a fragment?

I'm having an issue with my EditText (with id of body) not filling up the available space in my layout. I've been searching everywhere and experimenting with numerous resources, but I just simply can not seem to get it and have been spending hours on literally just this.. I'm guessing there is an issue with how my entire layout is set up, and probably can't just make a tweak in EditText. By the way this layout is being used in a fragment, maybe that changes things? popup window layout design left blank space

My popup window design left blank space on top of the window. i try different layout options but space persist.i don't understand how to eliminate this.i am using Custom popup Please help.

use dialog.getWindow().setBackgroundDrawableResource(android.R.color.transparent);

Setting height to fill_parent to the first linear layout doesn't help ?

Use android:layout_weight="" for your linearlayout objects and arrange their appearance in window. Use especially for the item which will occupy more space.

If you use weight on each element with will also cause spaces. So use for object for important.
