Unable to interact with views in fragment activity - android

Hi I am given an assignment to create contents in the fragment basic layout. However having create a swipe activity with tab action bar, i am unable to edit the fragment layout within each given tab. Here is the codes as follow :
MainActivity.java : method i use to refer to the fragment layout
(created a default swipe activity with action tab)
package com.example.clement.testingfragments;
public class MainActivity extends AppCompatActivity {
private SectionsPagerAdapter mSectionsPagerAdapter;
private ViewPager mViewPager;
#Override
protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
setContentView(R.layout.activity_main);
Toolbar toolbar = (Toolbar) findViewById(R.id.toolbar);
setSupportActionBar(toolbar);
mSectionsPagerAdapter = new SectionsPagerAdapter(getSupportFragmentManager());
mViewPager = (ViewPager) findViewById(R.id.container);
mViewPager.setAdapter(mSectionsPagerAdapter);
// action bar
TabLayout tabLayout = (TabLayout) findViewById(R.id.tabs);
tabLayout.setupWithViewPager(mViewPager);
FloatingActionButton fab = (FloatingActionButton) findViewById(R.id.fab);
fab.setOnClickListener(new View.OnClickListener() {
#Override
public void onClick(View view) {
Snackbar.make(view, "Replace with your own action", Snackbar.LENGTH_LONG)
.setAction("Action", null).show();
}
});
//manage the fractions
FragmentManager fragmentManager = getSupportFragmentManager();
FragmentTransaction fragmentTransaction =
fragmentManager.beginTransaction();
fragmentTransaction.replace(android.R.id.content, new BlankFragment());
fragmentTransaction.commit();
}
#Override
public boolean onCreateOptionsMenu(Menu menu) {
// Inflate the menu; this adds items to the action bar if it is present.
getMenuInflater().inflate(R.menu.menu_main, menu);
return true;
}
#Override
public boolean onOptionsItemSelected(MenuItem item) {
// Handle action bar item clicks here. The action bar will
// automatically handle clicks on the Home/Up button, so long
// as you specify a parent activity in AndroidManifest.xml.
int id = item.getItemId();
//noinspection SimplifiableIfStatement
if (id == R.id.action_settings) {
return true;
}
return super.onOptionsItemSelected(item);
}
public static class PlaceholderFragment extends Fragment {
private static final String ARG_SECTION_NUMBER = "section_number";
public PlaceholderFragment() {
}
public static PlaceholderFragment newInstance(int sectionNumber) {
PlaceholderFragment fragment = new PlaceholderFragment();
Bundle args = new Bundle();
args.putInt(ARG_SECTION_NUMBER, sectionNumber);
fragment.setArguments(args);
return fragment;
}
#Override
public View onCreateView(LayoutInflater inflater, ViewGroup container,
Bundle savedInstanceState) {
if(getArguments().getInt(ARG_SECTION_NUMBER) == 1) {
View rootView = inflater.inflate(R.layout.fragment_blank, container, false);
return rootView;
}else {
View rootView = inflater.inflate(R.layout.fragment_main, container, false);
TextView textView = (TextView) rootView.findViewById(R.id.section_label);
textView.setText(getString(R.string.section_format, getArguments().getInt(ARG_SECTION_NUMBER)));
return rootView;
}
}
}
public class SectionsPagerAdapter extends FragmentPagerAdapter {
public SectionsPagerAdapter(FragmentManager fm) {
super(fm);
}
#Override
public Fragment getItem(int position) {
// getItem is called to instantiate the fragment for the given page.
// Return a PlaceholderFragment (defined as a static inner class below).
return PlaceholderFragment.newInstance(position + 1);
}
#Override
public int getCount() {
// Show 3 total pages.
return 3;
}
#Override
public CharSequence getPageTitle(int position) {
switch (position) {
case 0:
return "SECTION 1";
case 1:
return "SECTION 2";
case 2:
return "SECTION 3";
}
return null;
}
}
}
I then created the BlankFragment.java :
(Default creation of a fragment basic layout)
public class BlankFragment extends Fragment {
TextView mtv;
public BlankFragment() {
// Required empty public constructor
}
#Override
public View onCreateView(LayoutInflater inflater, ViewGroup container,
Bundle savedInstanceState) {
Log.i("hello","hello");
View viewRoot = inflater.inflate(R.layout.fragment_blank, container, false);
mtv = (TextView)viewRoot.findViewById(R.id.testy);
mtv.setText("hello");
return viewRoot;
}
}
The problem with this is that i am a unable to change textview that is inside of the fragment_blank.xml. i have research all across the internet and the suggestions given were to create void methods, using getActivity(), onViewCreated(), Onstart(). All of these have seem to not work.
i have included a if else loop to return a null under the condition that the method works, but it still runs without returning a null and i have no clue as to why this is happening.
My fragment_blank.xml:
<FrameLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
xmlns:tools="http://schemas.android.com/tools"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent"
tools:context="com.example.clement.testingfragments.BlankFragment">
<TextView
android:id="#+id/testy"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent"
android:text="#string/hello_blank_fragment" />
</FrameLayout>
Do let me know if more information is needed. I sincerely seek your suggestions and advice. Thanks in advance!

As per your question your textview is inside basicfragmentlayout.xml, while you are inflating fragment_blank inside your onCreateView. You need to change your code as below:
MyActivity.java
public class MyActivity extends AppCompatActivity {
#Override
protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
setContentView(R.layout.activity_main);
FragmentManager fragmentManager = getSupportFragmentManager();
FragmentTransaction fragmentTransaction =
fragmentManager.beginTransaction();
fragmentTransaction.replace(android.R.id.content, new MyFragment());
fragmentTransaction.commit();
}
}
MyFragment.java
import android.os.Bundle;
import android.support.v4.app.Fragment;
import android.view.LayoutInflater;
import android.view.View;
import android.view.ViewGroup;
import android.widget.TextView;
public class MyFragment extends Fragment {
View myView;
#Override
public View onCreateView(LayoutInflater inflater, ViewGroup container, Bundle savedInstanceState) {
myView = inflater.inflate(R.layout.fragment_my, container, false);
TextView mtv = (TextView) myView.findViewById(R.id.testy);
mtv.setText("hello");
return myView;
}
}
fragment_my.java
<FrameLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
xmlns:tools="http://schemas.android.com/tools"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent">
<TextView
android:id="#+id/testy"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent"
android:text="TempText" />
</FrameLayout>

Content does not load in tab layout fragment when the parent fragment is replacing other fragment

I have a MainActivIty and it supports two fragments i.e Home and Profile.Home has a TabLayout which in turn has three fragments Trending,Followed and Nearby.
So the issue is when Home is first time loaded it shows the content of the Tab fragments and slider of tab layout moves properly but when I got to profile and then to home then the tab layout fragments do not load and while swiping left to right slider does not move smoothly.Here is the code.
public class MainActivity extends AppCompatActivity {
ImageButton home_btn,myProfile_btn;
FragmentManager fragmentManager;
FragmentTransaction fragmentTransaction;
TextView txt_action_bar;
Home home;
ProfileFragment profile;
#Override
protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);

notification_btn=(ImageButton)findViewById(R.id.notification_btn) ;
plus_btn=(ImageButton)findViewById(R.id.btn_plus) ;
Toolbar toolbar = (Toolbar) findViewById(R.id.toolbar);
txt_action_bar = (TextView)findViewById(R.id.toolbar_title);
displayMetrics = getResources().getDisplayMetrics();
Typeface custom_font = Typeface.createFromAsset(getAssets(),"fonts/NoteworthyLight.ttf");
txt_action_bar.setTypeface(custom_font);
setSupportActionBar(toolbar);
fragmentManager = getSupportFragmentManager();
fragmentTransaction = fragmentManager.beginTransaction();
home = new Home();
profile = new ProfileFragment();
fragmentTransaction.add(R.id.main_fragment_container,home,"home");
fragmentTransaction.commit();
}
public void onClickHome(View view)
{
fragmentManager = getSupportFragmentManager();
fragmentTransaction = fragmentManager.beginTransaction();
fragmentTransaction.replace(R.id.main_fragment_container,home,"home");
fragmentTransaction.commit();
}
public void onClickMyProfile(View view)
{
fragmentManager = getSupportFragmentManager();
fragmentTransaction = fragmentManager.beginTransaction();
fragmentTransaction.replace(R.id.main_fragment_container,profile,"profile");
fragmentTransaction.commit();
}
}

}
#Override
public Fragment getItem(int position) {
// getItem is called to instantiate the fragment for the given page.
// Return a PlaceholderFragment (defined as a static inner class below).
Log.i("tag","number"+String.valueOf(position));
if(position==0) return new TrendingFragment();
else if(position==1) return new FollowedFragment();
else return new NearbyFragment();
}
#Override
public int getCount() {
// Show 3 total pages.
return 3;
}
#Override
public CharSequence getPageTitle(int position) {
return tabTitles[position];
}
}
As answered here:
When you are creating the view adapter in Home.java:
instead of
mSectionsPagerAdapter = new SectionsPagerAdapter(getFragmentManager());
you should do,
mSectionsPagerAdapter = new SectionsPagerAdapter(getChildFragmentManager());

Tabs execute the codes present in their next fragments in android

I am trying to implement Tabs with swipe using ViewPager and 4 Fragments. When I swipe the tabs the respective xml layouts of the fragmnets are displayed correctly on each tab but the code of the fragments are not executed correctly.
eg-The following tabs have the respective fragments in it.
Tab0-ButtonFragment
public class ButtonFragment extends Fragment {
#Override
public View onCreateView(LayoutInflater inflater, ViewGroup container,
Bundle savedInstanceState) {
View rootView = inflater.inflate(R.layout.fragment_button, container, false);
Log.i("inside", "button fragment");
return rootView;
}
Tab1-ImageFragment
public class ImageFragment extends Fragment {
#Override
public View onCreateView(LayoutInflater inflater, ViewGroup container,
Bundle savedInstanceState) {
View rootView = inflater.inflate(R.layout.fragment_image, container, false);
Log.i("inside", "image fragment");
return rootView;
}
Tab2-TextFragment
public class TextFragment extends Fragment {
#Override
public View onCreateView(LayoutInflater inflater, ViewGroup container,
Bundle savedInstanceState) {
View rootView = inflater.inflate(R.layout.fragment_text, container, false);
Log.i("inside", "text fragment");
return rootView;
}
Tab3-Test
public class Test extends Fragment {
#Override
public View onCreateView(LayoutInflater inflater, ViewGroup container,
Bundle savedInstanceState) {
View rootView = inflater.inflate(R.layout.temp, container, false);
Log.i("inside", "tessssssssst fragment");
return rootView;
}
When the tabs are displayed
I get the log message for tab0 and tab1 simultaneously. Then after swiping and going to tab1 i get the log message for tab2. After swiping to tab2 i get log message for tab 3 and when tab 3 is reached no log message is dispalyed. Can anyone tell me how can I execute the respective codes for the respective tabs? My remaining codes are as below:
public class TabsPagerAdapter extends FragmentPagerAdapter { //Update - code formatting
public TabsPagerAdapter(FragmentManager fm) {
super(fm);
}
#Override
public Fragment getItem( int index) {
Log.i("index", "" + index);
switch (index) {
case 0:
// Top Rated fragment activity
return new ButtonFragment();
case 1:
// Games fragment activity
return new ImageFragment();
case 2:
// Movies fragment activity
return new TextFragment();
case 3:
return new Test();
}
return null;
}
#Override
public int getCount() {
// get item count - equal to number of tabs
return 4;
}
MainActivity
public class MainActivity extends FragmentActivity implements OnTabChangeListener, OnPageChangeListener {
private TabsPagerAdapter mAdapter;
private ViewPager mViewPager;
private TabHost mTabHost;
#Override
protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
setContentView(R.layout.activity_main);
mViewPager = (ViewPager) findViewById(R.id.viewpager);
// Tab Initialization
initialiseTabHost();
mAdapter = new TabsPagerAdapter(getSupportFragmentManager());
// Fragments and ViewPager Initialization
mViewPager.setAdapter(mAdapter);
mViewPager.setOnPageChangeListener(MainActivity.this);
}
// Method to add a TabHost
private static void AddTab(MainActivity activity, TabHost tabHost, TabHost.TabSpec tabSpec) {
tabSpec.setContent(new MyTabFactory(activity));
tabHost.addTab(tabSpec);
}
// Manages the Tab changes, synchronizing it with Pages
public void onTabChanged(String tag) {
int pos = this.mTabHost.getCurrentTab();
this.mViewPager.setCurrentItem(pos);
}
#Override
public void onPageScrollStateChanged(int arg0) {
}
// Manages the Page changes, synchronizing it with Tabs
#Override
public void onPageScrolled(int arg0, float arg1, int arg2) {
int pos = this.mViewPager.getCurrentItem();
this.mTabHost.setCurrentTab(pos);
}
#Override
public void onPageSelected(int arg0) {
}
// Tabs Creation
private void initialiseTabHost() {
mTabHost = (TabHost) findViewById(android.R.id.tabhost);
mTabHost.setup();
// TODO Put here your Tabs
MainActivity.AddTab(this, this.mTabHost, this.mTabHost.newTabSpec("ButtonTab").setIndicator("ButtonTab"));
MainActivity.AddTab(this, this.mTabHost, this.mTabHost.newTabSpec("ImageTab").setIndicator("ImageTab"));
MainActivity.AddTab(this, this.mTabHost, this.mTabHost.newTabSpec("TextTab").setIndicator("TextTab"));
MainActivity.AddTab(this, this.mTabHost, this.mTabHost.newTabSpec("TestingTab").setIndicator("TestingTab"));
mTabHost.setOnTabChangedListener(this);
}
This is default behaviour of viewpager you can not change it as viewpager creates fragments so that the views exist, so the user can swipe between them, so that the old view sliding off the screen and the new view sliding onto the screen. You can write your code like this
#Override
public void setUserVisibleHint(boolean isVisibleToUser) {
super.setUserVisibleHint(isVisibleToUser);
if (isVisibleToUser) {
Log.i("inside", "button fragment");
}else{
// fragment is not visible
}
}
so that when fragment is visible your code execute
When change your tab recall your corresponding fragment.
Try this it will help you
Create TabFragment.java

Finally add the recall method in your fragment class like this
public class ButtonFragment extends Fragment {
#Override
public View onCreateView(LayoutInflater inflater, ViewGroup container,
Bundle savedInstanceState) {
View rootView = inflater.inflate(R.layout.fragment_button, container, false);
Log.i("inside", "button fragment");
return rootView;
}
public void recall() {
Log.i("inside", "button fragment");
}
}

Error inflating class fragment in activity layout

I have the layout for the activity:
<fragment
android:name="com.myapp.fragment1"
android:id="#+id/fragment1"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent"
tools:layout="#layout/fragment1" />
<fragment
android:name="com.myapp.listfragment1"
android:id="#+id/fragment2"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent"/>
</RelativeLayout>
The first fragment (fragment1) extends Fragment, whilst the second fragment extends ListFragment. I don't have a layout for the listfragment.
The activity code is:
protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
setContentView(R.layout.activity_info);
}
An exception is thrown on setContentView:
Error inflating class fragment
The ListFragment code is:
#Override
public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
setListAdapter(new MyListAdapter(getActivity(), prices));
}
#Override
public void onViewCreated(View view, Bundle savedInstanceState) {
super.onViewCreated(view, savedInstanceState);
getListView().setDivider(null);
}
What is the correct way to have multiple fragments in an activity?
You can do it by using SectionsPagerAdapter (Swipe View) or by NavigationDrawer (Navigation drawer). I have used swipe view for one of my applications. Here is the codes.
MainActivity.java
public class MainActivity extends AppCompatActivity implements ActionBar.TabListener {
SectionsPagerAdapter mSectionsPagerAdapter;
/**
* The {#link ViewPager} that will host the section contents.
*/
ViewPager mViewPager;
#Override
protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
setContentView(R.layout.activity_main);
// Set up the action bar.
final ActionBar actionBar = getSupportActionBar();
actionBar.setNavigationMode(ActionBar.NAVIGATION_MODE_TABS);
// Create the adapter that will return a fragment for each of the three
// primary sections of the activity.
mSectionsPagerAdapter = new SectionsPagerAdapter(getSupportFragmentManager());
// Set up the ViewPager with the sections adapter.
mViewPager = (ViewPager) findViewById(R.id.pager);
mViewPager.setAdapter(mSectionsPagerAdapter);
// When swiping between different sections, select the corresponding
// tab. We can also use ActionBar.Tab#select() to do this if we have
// a reference to the Tab.
mViewPager.setOnPageChangeListener(new ViewPager.SimpleOnPageChangeListener() {
#Override
public void onPageSelected(int position) {
actionBar.setSelectedNavigationItem(position);
}
});
//Getting icons in icons veriable
final int[] ICONS = new int[]{
R.drawable.chat,
R.drawable.friends,
R.drawable.profile,
};
// For each of the sections in the app, add a tab to the action bar.
for (int i = 0; i < mSectionsPagerAdapter.getCount(); i++) {
// Create a tab with text corresponding to the page title defined by
// the adapter. Also specify this Activity object, which implements
// the TabListener interface, as the callback (listener) for when
// this tab is selected.
actionBar.addTab(
actionBar.newTab()
.setIcon(getResources().getDrawable(ICONS[i])).setTabListener(this));
}
}
#Override
public boolean onCreateOptionsMenu(Menu menu) {
// Inflate the menu; this adds items to the action bar if it is present.
getMenuInflater().inflate(R.menu.menu_main, menu);
return true;
}
#Override
public boolean onOptionsItemSelected(MenuItem item) {
// Take appropriate action for each action item click
switch (item.getItemId()) {
case R.id.action_search:
// search action
return true;
default:
return super.onOptionsItemSelected(item);
}
}
#Override
public void onTabSelected(ActionBar.Tab tab, FragmentTransaction fragmentTransaction) {
// When the given tab is selected, switch to the corresponding page in
// the ViewPager.
mViewPager.setCurrentItem(tab.getPosition());
}
#Override
public void onTabUnselected(ActionBar.Tab tab, FragmentTransaction fragmentTransaction) {
}
#Override

This is just a sample code of my project. You can use your own code for java or xml. Here i tried to show how to call the fragments in your MainActivityusing swipe view. Hope it helps.

Navigation drawer + ViewPager - fragments do not show

I have a problem with the layout I created. I used the Navigation Drawer as a main navigation pattern. It looks and works as I wanted, but the problem is that after returning to the fragment which holds ViewPager - the inner-fragments are not shown. However, they are shown when the application is first opened and shows the ViewPager-holding Fragment by default.
Other navigation drawer Fragments are displayed ok, so I don't expect that there is any problem with my Navigation Drawer implementation
RecordFragment.java (fragment holding ViewPager Fragments):
public class RecordFragment extends Fragment {
private ViewPager mViewPager;
public RecordFragment() {
}
#Override
public View onCreateView(LayoutInflater inflater, ViewGroup container, Bundle savedInstanceState) {
View rootView = inflater.inflate(R.layout.record_fragment, container, false);
//getActivity().setTitle(R.string.record);
return rootView;
}
#Override
public void onViewCreated(View view, Bundle savedInstanceState) {
super.onViewCreated(view, savedInstanceState);
mViewPager = (ViewPager) view.findViewById(R.id.record_pager);
FragmentManager manager = getFragmentManager();
mViewPager.setAdapter(new MyFragmentPagerAdapter(manager));
}
class MyFragmentPagerAdapter extends FragmentPagerAdapter {
public MyFragmentPagerAdapter(FragmentManager fm) {
super(fm);
}
#Override
public Fragment getItem(int item) {
Fragment fragment = null;
if (item == 0) {
fragment = new NumbersFragment();
} else if (item == 1) {
fragment = new MapFragment();
}
return fragment;
}
#Override
public int getCount() {
return 2;
}
#Override
public CharSequence getPageTitle(int position) {
String title = new String();
if (position == 0) {
title = "Numbers";
} else if (position == 1) {
title = "Map";
}
return title;
}
}
}
NumbersFragment.java (one of the Fragments holded by RecordFragment)
public class NumbersFragment extends Fragment {
public NumbersFragment() {
}
#Override
public View onCreateView(LayoutInflater inflater, ViewGroup container, Bundle savedInstanceState) {
View rootView = inflater.inflate(R.layout.numbers_fragment, container, false);
//getActivity().setTitle(R.string.record);
return rootView;
}
}
record_fragment.xml
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<LinearLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
android:orientation="vertical" android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent">
<android.support.v4.view.ViewPager
xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
android:id="#+id/record_pager"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent">
<android.support.v4.view.PagerTabStrip
android:id="#+id/pager_title_strip"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"
android:layout_gravity="top"
android:background="#33b5e5"
android:textColor="#fff"
android:paddingTop="4dp"
android:paddingBottom="4dp" />
</android.support.v4.view.ViewPager>
</LinearLayout>
You use Fragments inside another Fragment, in this case you need to use the Fragment#getChildFragmentManager() method:
FragmentManager manager = getChildFragmentManager();
If it doesn't work you can try to switch to FragmentStatePagerAdapter instead of FragmentPagerAdapter (but you still need to use child fragment manager).
As the ViewPager required Fragments and ViewPager itself on Fragment, we have to use getChildFragmentManager() instead of getSupportFragmentManager().

move from a fragment to another in an activity

From what I understand from this thread, fragments can be easily replaced with another.
However in my case, I have 2 fragments combined in scrollable Activity, so when I say "move", I mean going from the fragment left to the right or right to the left without replacing any fragment with another. Is this somehow possible?
you could use ViewPager for that. And on your adapter class you will have to switch between the fragments via getItem(). Eclipse/new AndroidProject/ swipe with/out tabs. And check the example code generated by Android.
edit:
create xml file call it main_activity.xml
<android.support.v4.view.ViewPager xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
xmlns:tools="http://schemas.android.com/tools"
android:id="#+id/pager"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent"
tools:context=".Main" >
<android.support.v4.view.PagerTitleStrip
android:id="#+id/pager_title_strip"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"
android:layout_gravity="bottom"
android:background="#FAFAFA"
android:paddingBottom="4dp"
android:paddingTop="4dp"
android:textColor="#36466E" />
create a class call it Main
public class Main extends FragmentActivity {
SectionsPagerAdapter mSectionsPagerAdapter;
ViewPager mViewPager;
Context ctx;
static MySQLiteHelper db;
#Override
protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
setContentView(R.layout.activity_main);
mSectionsPagerAdapter = new SectionsPagerAdapter(
getSupportFragmentManager());
mSectionsPagerAdapter.notifyDataSetChanged();
mViewPager = (ViewPager) findViewById(R.id.pager);
mViewPager.setAdapter(mSectionsPagerAdapter);
}
public class SectionsPagerAdapter extends FragmentPagerAdapter {
public SectionsPagerAdapter(FragmentManager fm) {
super(fm);
}
#Override
public Fragment getItem(int position) {
Fragment fragment = null;
switch(position){
case 0:
fragment = new GridApp();
break;
case 1:
fragment = new ListApp();
break;
}
return fragment;
}
#Override
public int getCount() {
return 2;
}
#Override
public CharSequence getPageTitle(int position) {
switch (position) {
case 0:
return "Select App";
case 1:
return "Selected Apps";
}
return null;
}
}
}
now create a class called GridApp and ListApp
GridApp class.
public class GridApp extends Fragment {
#Override
public View onCreateView(LayoutInflater inflater, ViewGroup container,
Bundle savedInstanceState) {
View rootView = inflater.inflate(R.layout.gridpp,
container, false);
}
}
ListApp class
public class GridApp extends Fragment {
#Override
public View onCreateView(LayoutInflater inflater, ViewGroup container,
Bundle savedInstanceState) {
View rootView = inflater.inflate(R.layout.listapp,
container, false);
}
}
and you are done.
