I tried various steps to remove breakpoints from Android Studio .
One of them listed in question BreakPoint link
I followed this but , still there are some green colored with red circle remaining , what are those as seen in image below and how to remove those effectively.
Click on red icon which is below to stop debug. you will see a window there you can remove all breakpoints.
Step 1: ctrl+shift+F8
Step 2: ctrl+A
Step 3: Click delete or Alt+delete
Step 4: done
First, click on debug tab and you see a screen like this:-
Now you will see a window like this:-
From this screen you can remove breakpoints by clicking (-) button. To remove all break point first select Java Line break Point option and then click (-).
In debug option there is button disable break point button this will disable all break point
My SOP:
select Favorites from the left hand edge of the screen;
expandBreakpoints
select those you wish to remove
press delete or the - button (located at the bottom of the window)
Alternative:
⌘ ⇧ F8 (Mac) or Ctrl ⇧ F8 (Windows) brings up the breakpoint dialog. Highlight the breakpoints you want to remove and press the - button.
Remove all breakpoints in three simple steps:
Double Shift (or tap the search icon in the upper right corner).
Search for "Remove all".
Click "Remove all breakpoints"
Open breakpoint window short cut key using
Ctrl + shift +f8
Pressing ctrl+shift+F8 will pop up the Breakpoints window and then you can disable/enable all break point by clicking the check box in the Java line Breakpoints Treeview
Its really easy to remove all the break points.
Run -> View BreakPoints... (OR) Ctrl + shift +f8
BreakPoints dialog opens.
To remove all break points uncheck the root (Ctrl+A and Delete) or to remove individual break points uncheck the individuals.
Check this image for what it means:
Following the intellij docs it says:
To remove a breakpoint permanently, do one of the following:
On the main menu, choose Run | View Breakpoints or Ctrl+Shift+F8.
Select the desired break point and click - button
If all breakpoints from certain group need to be deleted:
Select the group on the left side of the widow and Press - or delete button

This is what I want
But I actually get this after reformat the code.
The reason I want to have that is because without new line it looks like this:
Not very tidy...
Not sure if this is what you want but I can point you in to that direction.
Follow the direction below:
In Android Studio Go to,
File -> Settings (Ctrl+Alt+S in windows)
Expand the Editor option-> Expand Code Style option -> Select Kotlin
Select 'Wrapping and Braces' from Tab window there on right pane
Find 'Chained Function calls' there & adjust accordingly
I would suggest following settings:
Select Wrap always for Chained Function calls & Check Use continuation indent, Uncheck Wrap first call if checked previously.
Hope this helps!

This question already has answers here:
The Android emulator is out of view, how can I move it?
(11 answers)
Closed 7 years ago.
My android emulator won't show the minimize or close button, It's stuck to the left of my screen and I can't drag it to the right or anywhere.
have you tried moving it with the keyboard?
if you're using Windows -
Press ALT+SPACE+M together. You are now in Move mode. You might have to use the arrows UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT to move your window.
press Enter to exit Move mode.
Press ALT + SPACE + M and move the windows by press UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT and it will work.
Have fun ;)
Press ALT+spacebar then release and press m to get into Move mode. Use the arrow keys to move the window. Press Enter to exit Move mode.
sleepless is correct and it worked for me.

No above option work for me.But while i trying that my whole scree orient portail in windows 7.When i switch it back emulator automatically orient correctly.Actually short cut rotate screen in window is ALT + CTRL + ARROW KEYS in my system.
There are two approaches:
1. remove the emulator-user.ini file under the .avd/ folder or the
$HOME/.android/ folder and try again;
2. change the values of x and y in the above file to be >= 10
ALT+spacebar and then "Agrandir pour remplir le bureau" in french "Zoom to fill the office" worked for me.
I hate when I try to open the declaration of a layout and Eclipse redirects me to the R file, which is the same as nothing. Is there a keyboard shortcut for it to take me to the layout file. I know if you click on it with CTRL it gives you this option on a pop-up, but I hate using the mouse. I can't find this on the keybinding section. There's just plain "open declaration" which I have already changed because it was a horrible F3 by default, but this usually takes you to the R file
Well there is a mouse shortcut - Just hold down CTRL and hover over the id you want to see. You'll get two options, one for R.java and other to open the declaration. Choose the second one
EDIT:
Sorry, completely missed the part where you dont like the mouse use. Well I dont think there is any other way, and I see a bug/feature request here https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=53536 reported specifically asking for this, so I wouldnt think another way exists other than either using the mouse or using the keyboard to highlight the particular item of interest and using Ctrl+Shift+R to get the menu and pressing Enter but like you mention this wouldnt work for something like R.id.foo . Wish someone from Google/Eclipse could comment on the bug/feature request.
If you CTRL + Shift + r : you can open any resource.
Using this with any text selected will pre-populate the open resource dialog with the text you selected. After that you should be able to find the file you want very quickly and double click it to open (or use down arrow and enter for openting without using a mouse).
Hope this helps.
Eclipse Display Window doesn't work I can't run anything there.
For example I am trying to do this in the Display view window:
System.out.println("test")
But nothing happens, and when I looked in Eclipse documentationa and in the internet I found that the j icon on the upper right corner of the Display window should be active after I highlight the line of code or I can right click after I highlight the code and see the option to execute the code. but nothing is working.
Please help.
Try highlighting the text that you typed into the display window. You might be able to execute it once you do that.
This is because Display is used only when the code is being debugged. Put a Breakpoint in the code and while the process stops there, use Display to execute your code. It must work.
I am assuming that Consol Window is not opened in your eclipse. Just follow this steps,
Go to Window Menu
Select Show View
Select Consol ( or shortcut key is Alt+Shift+ Q C )
Just select the command like:
System.out.println("test")
and press Ctrl+U or right click on highlighted text and select execute. It will work.
