Build Xamarin Android project error MSB3073 with Jenkins on Mac - android

I am using Jenkins to build Xamarin Android project.
And I see error:

I found https://forums.xamarin.com/discussion/81671/cant-archive-any-android-project but it doesn't help me.
my build command
/p:Configuration=Release /t:PackageForAndroid /p:AndroidSdkDirectory=/Users/user/Library/Developer/Xamarin/android-sdk-macosx
Thank you

I found solution. I just added /p:MonoSymbolArchive=False to my command line

tensorflow build fails with “BUILD file not found on package”

I trying build tensorflow_demo for android with Bazel, but I get this error:
ERROR: no such package 'tensorflow/tensorflow/examples/android': BUILD file not found on package path.
I have build file in directory (MacOS):
/Users/pavelgosteev/tensorflow/tensorflow/examples/android
build command:
(tensorflow) MBP-Pavel:tensorflow pavelgosteev$ bazel build //tensorflow/tensorflow/examples/android:tensorflow_demo
What's wrong? Why can't Bazel see build file?
I think you need one fewer "tensorflow" in the build target name. Try:
bazel build //tensorflow/examples/android:tensorflow_demo
Further instructions can be found in the Tensorflow Android tutorial.

Compile your project in https://build.phonegap.com/
There you have no problems with OS and can compile for all OS.
I use then for IOS compilation.
Solution:
Uninstall node v0.10.25
install node 0.12 or above
remove platform android (cordova platform rm android)
add platform android (cordova platform add android)
build android (cordova build android)
Done

Debugging a failed ant build

I'm trying to compile and release an android app via headless linux server using ant. I'm getting the following error:
BUILD FAILED
/opt/android-sdk-linux_x86/tools/ant/build.xml:653: The following error occurred while executing this line:
/opt/android-sdk-linux_x86/tools/ant/build.xml:698: null returned: 1
This is line 698:
proguardFile="${out.absolute.dir}/proguard.txt">
How can I find out what this ${out.absolute.dir} is?
Add the -d (debug) and -v (verbose) flags to your ant command. You'll get a lot of extra output, but it should give you a clue.

Cannot build cordova project successfully error while executing ant debug command

I was having an error that is Camera not successful invoked on first try (click) so I tried this solution on stackoverflow Phonegap(3.0.0) Camera not successful on first try.
I followed the steps as mentioned in the answer removed android by cordova platform remove android then I run the second command cordova platform add android ;
Now when I use netbeans to run the cordova application on cordova android decvice this error occurs:

any idea about this problem?
I was having a similar issue. I ran ant debug -f "/path/to/project/build.xml" from a separate terminal. It displayed a more specific description of the error (which for me wast that there was a space in the project name). This answer also notes:
config.xml can't have a widget id with number as a first character
after a dot. For example: com.42myapp.test or com.myapp.42test won't
work as well as 42com.myapp.test. It will trigger an error from the
compiler.
I was facing similar issues when i started using the CLI to build apps using cordova and started checking the internet for solutions. While i was at it, i discovered the following things that may help you or anyone else facing the same problem can take some hints from this:
These are some very basic checks that you need to take
1. make sure you have all the required sdk's in place (ANT, Java, Android) and is available when you use these commands on the terminal/command $ ant $ java $ adt. if any of these commands are not found, then you need to get it installed or get the class paths fixed.
make sure your project path does not have spaces. i.e. do not have spaces or special characters in directory names. this issue seems to have been fixed on latest versions of cordova and phonegap, but either cases it is a good practice to follow as ant and java paths could be dependent on the folder names you make.
use -d or -v to get extra debug information on the build process to know where and what is causing the issue. $ cordova build android -d or $ cordova build android -v
Make sure you dont use "#" as the link attribute of author tag in the cordova config.xml on the root of the project. This expects the compiler to interpret a hexadecimal color and fails the build. (this was my problem)
Hope this helps.
er... Happy debugging??
Make sure your Ant is 1.8.0 or later version. Cordova 3.3 demands that.
In the past several days, I found that the conflicting files from Dropbox had a very long name. After renaming it, everything worked.

"cordova platform add android" fails with unexpected error

i am trying to install Phonegap on Ubuntu 13.04, i have installed the Android SDK with all available Packages, but running the following command:
cordova platform add android
fails with an unexpected error:
[Error: An error occured during creation of android sub-project. An unexpected error occurred: "$ANDROID_BIN" create project --target $TARGET --path "$PROJECT_PATH" --package $PACKAGE --activity $ACTIVITY &>/dev/null exited with 1
Deleting project...
I have set the PATH Variables for Android (tools / platform-tools) and java and ant are installed.
Why does this happen? How can i get a more detailed error message?
have you tried running command with sudo?
it could be a permissions issue.
If still not working, try running it using verbose mode i.e. sudo -d cordova...
In case this is due to activity name whitespaces, see comments for this answer.
There is an issue reported in https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-4198, for which I've sent a pull request to remove whitespaces https://github.com/phonegap/phonegap/pull/39.
As #José said, the "hello" example doesn't work because spaces are not allowed.
Changing it to "HelloWorld" solves the problem.
remove the space in between name tags in config.xml
MyAppName< name>
In my case, using debian wheezy, the example from: http://docs.phonegap.com/en/edge/guide_cli_index.md.html#The%20Command-line%20Interface does not work with this error:
[Error: An error occured during creation of android sub-project. An unexpected error occurred: "$ANDROID_BIN" create project --target $TARGET --path "$PROJECT_PATH" --package $PACKAGE --activity $ACTIVITY &>/dev/null exited with 1
Deleting project...
]
After adding $JAVA_HOME (Java sun, with openjdk did't work) and $PATH the andriod sdk path to .../sdk/platform-tools:../sdk/tool
The solution in my case was the project name:
The example that doesn't work:
cordova create HelloWorld com.example.hello "Hello World"
THIS works:
cordova create HelloWorld com.example.hello HelloWorld
Make sure your package and project names are correct, following the com.mycompanyname.myappname format without any numbers or dashes.
Here's the issue being tracked by PhoneGap.
If you open up the create file (phonegap-2.7.0/lib/android/bin/create) with textEdit, there is a line that lists
ANDROID_BIN=”${ANDROID_BIN:=$( which android )}”.
The “which android” is the cause of the issue
If you replace this line with the full path to your android tools (SDK), it should resolve the issue. It looked like this:
ANDROID_BIN=/Users/cswjs/Documents/Dev/adt-bundle/sdk/tools/android
OR try modify ~/.bash_profile using open ~/.bash_profile to full PATH
export PATH=${PATH}:/Users/cswjs/Documents/Dev/adt-bundle/sdk/platform-tools:/Users/cswjs/Documents/Dev/adt-bundle/sdk/tools
And use cordova create foo com.example.foo foo to create new project named foo. Make sure project name should be same.
Hope this could help someone!
IN my case there are many places in create script where u need to remove >null to see real logs. and i finally resolved my issues by
sudo chown -R sachinsharma ~/.cordova
