buildozer fails to compile apk - android

I have problems trying to compile kivy for android. It doesn't matter what I do, I get the same error.
Will compile for the following archs: armeabi-v7a

#
#[app#demo]
#title = My Application (demo)
#
#[app:source.exclude_patterns#demo]
#images/hd/*
#
# Then, invoke the command line with the "demo" profile:
#
#buildozer --profile demo android debug
i guess thats all the information i've got.
i've changed the versions in my main.py and in the specs and got nothing.
i'm gonna try to change my ubuntu version as well, and see what i can do

By default, buildozer looks for a line in your main.py of the form __version__ = 'something'. This is used to set the apk version, a required field.
You can either add this line to your main.py, or comment out the version check and uncomment the alternative version method on the next lines of buildozer.spec. This lets you set the version string in buildozer.spec itself.
Add __version__ = '0.1' at the top of your main.py file so you can package your application without any error.

[WARNING]: Missing executable: autoconf is not installed
[WARNING]: Missing executable: automake is not installed
[WARNING]: Missing executable: libtoolize is not installed
maybe it would help to install these?
on ubuntu
sudo apt install build-essential autoconf libtool
should provide these to you.
AttributeError: 'AnsiCodes' object has no attribute 'LIGHTBLUE_EX'
this seems to come from buildozer logger, and its usage of colorama, maybe try to pip-install a more recent version of colorama?
pip install --user -U colorama
hope this helps.

raise CommandNotFound(path)
sh.CommandNotFound: ./compile.sh
What can we learn ? your name is Daniel, you want to do a frightening pasta app and you have an error in the vlc library import.
I think you should try the buildozer creation without vlc first. (to be sure that it is coming from there).
Now you problematic is kivy apk creation with buildozer crash with vlc library, yeay ! we advanced !!!
if you find nothing in internet, I advice you to use kivy discord. :)
sh.CommandNotFound: ./compile.sh
you will find the sh file inside buildozer/.buildozer/android/platform/build-armeabi-v7a/build/other_builds/vlc/armeabi-v7a__ndk_target_21/vlc/vlc-port-android/buildsystem
as it seems vlc updated their repo structure while in buildozer its still the same.. either update the buildozer settings somewhere
or simply add a new compile.sh inside vlc-port-android and it just run the other compile.sh inside the buildsystem
something like this will work
#!/bin/bash
source ./buildsystem/compile.sh
then run buildozer again
Edit 1
the above solution worked and it downloaded gradle successfully.. but the problem i faced was that buildozer use jdk 8 while gradle 7.x use jdk 11 , my solution was to add org.gradle.java.home=/usr/lib/jvm/java-1.11.0-openjdk-amd64
into gradle.properties file for vlc located in
/.buildozer/android/platform/build-armeabi-v7a/build/other_builds/vlc/armeabi-v7a__ndk_target_21/vlc/vlc-port-android/gradle.properties
and it work normally

configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables - Buildozer kivy to android debuging

ENTERING MY PROBLEM (they can skip it)
Hello, I am trying to compile apk application, but I always have many problems due to lack of libraries and applications that my system does not bring and that are not mentioned in the buildozer and kivy requirements. I am stuck in this error after installing a lot of libraries to solve the previous ones. If you have the definitive guide of requirements to work with buildozer and kivy please add it as a complement to this answer. If you think it is better to format the system and start again to install only what is necessary, I am willing, as long as the information you give me is different from what is available in the official pages.

Issue with buildozer packaging a kivy app

I'm trying to package my kivy app and I'm having problems with buildozer. Some weeks ago it worked in a right way but today I got this error:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "build.py", line 517, in <module>

File "build.py", line 365, in make_package

File "/usr/lib/python2.7/subprocess.py", line 540, in check_call
raise CalledProcessError(retcode, cmd)
subprocess.CalledProcessError: Command '['ant', 'debug']' returned non-zero exit status 1
I've been reading about this error (https://github.com/kivy/buildozer/issues/205) and maybe the problem is with the version of the sdk and ndk. Here I attach my buildozer.spec file because maybe I'm doing something in a wrong way.

# List as sections
#
# You can define all the "list" as [section:key].
# Each line will be considered as a option to the list.
# Let's take [app] / source.exclude_patterns.
# Instead of doing:
#
#[app]
#source.exclude_patterns = license,data/audio/*.wav,data/images/original/*
#
# This can be translated into:
#
#[app:source.exclude_patterns]
#license
#data/audio/*.wav
#data/images/original/*
#
# -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
# Profiles
#
# You can extend section / key with a profile
# For example, you want to deploy a demo version of your application without
# HD content. You could first change the title to add "(demo)" in the name
# and extend the excluded directories to remove the HD content.
#
#[app#demo]
#title = My Application (demo)
#
#[app:source.exclude_patterns#demo]
#images/hd/*
#
# Then, invoke the command line with the "demo" profile:
#
#buildozer --profile demo android debug
As I have said at the begining of the post, a few weeks ago it worked properly and I don't know why now this is happening to me. Just in case the full log of buildozer is needed, I attach here the last lines of the output using buildozer --verbose android debug:

# Buildozer failed to execute the last command
# The error might be hidden in the log above this error
# Please read the full log, and search for it before
# raising an issue with buildozer itself.
# In case of a bug report, please add a full log with log_level = 2
Well, after looking for the answer in some forums I have achieved the correct way to fix the issue. In the buildozer.specfile I changed the sdk version to the last version avaible:
# (int) Android SDK version to use
android.sdk = 24
After that I executed buildozer and tried to download the version I've specified in the .specfile, and this time the creation of the apk file was well done.
