Today I added a static MediaPlayer to my Activity.
It is static so I can stop it from outside the class it is written in.
But for some reason the MediaPlayer stops after the second or third loop without an error in Logcat.
This is my code:

This is the code I'm using to create a notification sound. However, the media player plays the sound with a lower volume when the function is called for the first time. If this function is immediately called again, it then plays with the desired volume which is the stream volume.

How to play the sound with the right volume at all times?
For example, I want to play 3 songs. When the 1st song ends, the 2nd song begins, and when the 2nd song ends, the 3rd song begins, and when the 3rd song ends, the 1st song begins again and so on. Is the mp.setOnCompletionListener used here?
You are right. You can do something simple like this:

First declare the 3 MediaPlayer files:

Then initialize the MediaPlayer objects:

I am trying to find out how to use the android's MediaPlayer method setNextMediaPlayer which should smoothly transition from one player (song) to another. But do not know how to use the method since there is a lack of documentation.

The only problem is that the second mediaplayer cannot be called as async (i.e. mp2.prepareAsync()). I do not know why, but if you try it like that it does not start, which is a bad thing :/.
MediaPlayer setNextMediaPlayer gives a lot of problem what i do is this:
in the onCompletion() reset() the mediaplayer, setDataSource() and prepareAsync().

Then in the onCompletion you need some flag to check if the last song was played to stop, because the code as i posted will loop in the last song.
I want to play Sound Files from raw folder using MediaPlayer but I don't want to use MediaPlayer.create() method, since I want to play it multiple times and want to retain MediaPlayer object. I was successful in compiling the following code but it plays nothing and I can't hear any sound.

First, hopefully you're initializing your MediaPlayer with:
mPlayerLoopSound = new MediaPlayer();
Next, make sure you call:
mPlayerLoopSound.setAudioStreamType(AudioManager.STREAM_MUSIC);
which:
Sets the audio stream type for this MediaPlayer. See AudioManager for a list of stream types. Must call this method before prepare() or prepareAsync() in order for the target stream type to become effective thereafter.
Then, in your OnPreparedListener(), when onPrepared() is called, notice the parameter it has: MediaPlayer mp. This is the MediaPlayer that is ready for playback, so you can use it:

Simple requirement is I want to show a spinner until media player window is shown. It sounds easy enough but it is not.

Use prepareAsync() and setOnPreparedListener() instead of prepare().
