Delete app permanently from App stores - iOS and Android - android

I am able to "Remove from sale" in itunes and unpublished in google play for one of my apps. Now, i am trying to delete them permanently.
iOS:
I have read that i can find a "Delete app" button on the app details page, but i cannot see it. Its been 30 min that i removed the app from sale. Do i have to wait a while to see the "Delete app" button OR am i missing anything.
Android:
When i clicked unpublished for my app, it gave me a message saying this will not delete the app. And i could not find any information on how to delete it.
Is there a way to delete the app from play store permanently.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

There is no any way to delete app from google play store once it live on play store you are not able to delete that application from play store because google remember all package names and each package name is unique.but you can unpublish it from play store.

No, you can unpublish but once your application has been live on the market you cannot delete it. (Each package name is unique and Google remembers all package names anyway so you could use this a reminder)
The "Delete" button only works for unpublished version of your app. Once you published your app or a particular version of it, you cannot delete it from the Market. However, you can still "unpublish" it. The "Delete" button is only handy when you uploaded a new version, then you realized you goofed and want to remove that new version before publishing it.
and after the update on may 2018 :
Delete an application or a game
You can permanently delete your draft apps or games from the Play
console. You can also delete:
published applications or games that have not been installed on any
device.
published applications or games that no user has the right to
reinstall.
In this case, contact our support team to request the final deletion

Is there any way to delete rejected app from Google Play Developer Console?

Is there any way to delete rejected app from Google Play Developer Console?
enter image description here
you cannot delete rejected/suspended/live apps from developer console. Either you can update the app again by looking at the email that why it was rejected at first place or you can hide them by unchecking rejected apps from filter on console.
You can only delete the drafted App but you cant delete rejected or live app.
Well, the answer is that the strategy still works. If you've never published the app, you can remove all traces of it from Google Play and another publisher account can then upload an app with the same package name. All you need to do is deactivate (if necessary) and then delete all .apk files and the app will disappear from your developer console. If the app was ever published, this will not work. You can unpublish an app, but you cannot delete any .apk files that were ever active while the app was published.

Is it possible remove temporarily an app from Play Store?

I have published an app in Google Play a few months ago. That app have some downloads and data from users in Console Google. I will release a new version, but while I'm finishing, I want remove it temporarily - keeping all that data and download numbers. Is it possible or when I cancel the publish all data will be deleted?
Please note that you unpublish (and this means just what name says, nothing more) not just APK - you hide all related stuff (app's page in Google Play etc). To end user it looks like the app is gone. For you - it is still in your console, you can edit description, images, see comments, stats or update APKs etc., but unless you publish it again, nobody will see these changes.

You could do that by unpublishing your app. You can re-publish it by installing a newer apk of the app and all the data will remain the same, you'd not loose any of it.
PS: You cannot delete an app from your account. Published and unpublished apps will remain in your account.
Update 2022 :
You can go to "Google play console -> Release -> Setup -> Advanced Settings", but as google says :
Unpublished: New users cannot find and install your app. Existing users can still find it and will receive updates.
Published: New users can find and install your app
I found a solution so that you can restrict the region of your app if you do not want to delete and republish it. This prevents even existing users from finding your app. In the published list of your app, you should keep at least one country, and you can select the country with the lowest downloads.

Remove application from Google Play Store

I put an app on Google Play Store, and now want to remove the app from the list of all applications, does anyone know how to remove?
Open App in your publisher account and click Button "Unpublish this app".
Under the developer console where you click to publish the app, if it is already published it becomes unpublished.
Click this and confirm you are sure then your app will no longer appear in the play store (may take a couple of hours for changes to propogate).
It will still however be shown in your developer console, you can't unfortunately remove it from there but people definitely won't be able to download from the store.
