How dialog create dividers between action buttons - android

I have a problem while trying to create a dialog with custom actions button. To create a divider between actions, currently, I added one view as a divider as image below, but when inspecting layout of system alert dialog, they don't do like that. I tried to find the source code of AlertDialog but haven't found the way they created a divider.
So, I hope someone can show me the way to create gray dividers between actions button like the system does.
Thank you so much,

Android Pop-up Menu with material design in ListView

How can i create the pop up menu exactly in my Android list view like this having material design effects and pop up animation? can anybody help with the code?
When i click on the 3 dots the Menu should popup on its top like in the below image:
You could try and use the PopUp Menu.
Here is a link tk more information: http://developer.android.com/reference/android/widget/PopupMenu.html
You can also provide a custom layout to it, if it's another layout you want.

Android Actionbar PopupMenu with Custom Item Layouts

I am working on an Android application where I have to design a menu which will populate from the action bar, like this:
I have tried my best but was not able to produce it using the Android controls.
The solutions I have tried are:
With Actionbar, add a menu item with a group with selectable="all", that produces the layout I need but when I click a checkbox for selecting it, the whole menu hides and selection is not done, moreover the menu icon in actionbar does not have the bottom right white arrow.
Tried creating a custom ActionProvider and added the menu items using class's OnPrepareSubMenu method but had the same issue.
I just need a push in the right direction and I can do the rest, suggestions are more than welcome.
Thank you :)
Use popupWindow.
In that you can make any custom layout and set it as content of your popupwindow and also you can specify an ANCHOR in your case it would be
R.id.your_menu_item
set a listener and listen the changes.

Download Progress Bar as LinearLayout Background

I have an app where students at my school can download course content that professors upload. Everything works great, except I have no progress bar dialog. I recently switched the app over to using fragments, so the old dialog I was using broke.
Anyway, I was thinking that instead of having a dialog display the progress bar, I could use the background of the item that was clicked as the progress bar.
Here is a screenshot of the app:

And here is a mocup of how I imagine it working:

I cannot for the life of me think of how this should be done. I am hoping someone could just give me a push in the right direction.
Thanks,
David
Check out Clip Drawable. You can set the background of your row to a ClipDrawable that holds the color or another drawable that you want to show for progress, then set the level (progress) while downloading.
Have you tried changing your row.xml to be a frame layout and just have a ProgressBar that fills the entire row? You can then put this behind the layout you currently have in your row.xml.

How to design Single Selection Dialog?

i want to show dialog like attached Image. an image to the left and text
with single selection.
any one guide me how to achieve this?
For that you have to customize the Context Menu because native context menu doesn't support for icon display inside the dialog, instead it only supports the text to be displayed inside each item.
The image which you have mentioned here is customized context menu with icon. Here is the same example which you want:
Source code for the above link: http://code.google.com/p/iconcontextmenu/
To create the dialog like the image is showing, for this you can use context menu. And if you want the dialog like that only then let me know.

Spinner pop up window title background

I would like to modify the background of the title bar of the dropdown dialog associated to a spinner.
If this is not possible I would like to know what resource is used to draw this background android.R.drawable.* ?
This is an effort of uniformity for my various pop ups in my application.
You can change everything using styles and themes.
Take a look at this example for buttons:
