How to set image at bottom of Imageview, but at image source not image size

Now I am getting the output like this(Text is at bottom of the screen),
But I want output like the following image.

I checked this

1. Remove attribute android:layout_below and android:layout_alignParentBottom="true" from TextView
2. Add attribute android:layout_alignBottom="#+id/coringImage" and android:layout_marginBottom="10dp" to TextView.
FYI, here I used bottom margin as 10dp, you can change it as per your needs.

How to limit from scrolling of an image (in scrollview) into the white space?

I am a beginner in Android Studio and android development in general. I want the scrollview to allow scrolling only till the end of the image but its scrolling into the white space. I tried quite a few things but I am just not getting it where I am going wrong.

The reason for getting extra whitespace in Layout is In TextView you mentioned the marginTop attribute as android:layout_marginTop="438dp" and also you didn't set adjustViewbounds to ImageView.
More Over the intention of image is to show on layout background means you can set the image as background to relative layout.

If i understand what you want, you need the white space to be fixed height or to be visible always(text1,text2) and only scroll the image ,if that's the case, you need to use linear layout and inside it put a scroll view with weigh 1 and the text1 and text 2 give them height wrap content here's the code:

this will make the image stretch in a way that still text1 and 2 be visible , if it's larger than this limit you will be able to scroll then

You have to use flowTextView jar to your project. Here you can find the jar:

Inside LinearLayout, place textview at the top to show the title. Make height wrap_content and width match_parent.
Below this, add linearlayout which contains textview and image. set orientation horizontal to inner liner layout.
For better placing you can always used relative layout. for example

relative layout gravity center not aligning correctly

I'm trying to center the chilldren of my relative layout in the center of my screen but it's acting like it's aligned to the top of the parent and I can't figure out why.

I've tried making the parent a relativelayout without success and it won't align to the bottom either. Initially I thought the layout wasn't filling the whole screen but since its height and width are match_parent I don't think that's the problem. in android studio it is displaying correctly though so I must be missing something small.
I also tried using the gravity and layoutgravity parameters and a combination of the two but without success
Edit: I need the views to stay in the same formation relative to each other but centered in the screen vertically.

If setting the xml in an AlertDialog, it's possible that there is a space allotted at the bottom. I google and found this alert_dialog.xml for reference. It seems that there is a buttonPanel at the bottom with a minimum height of 54dip.

Thanks to ank I was able to figure out that the reason why the RelativeLayout didn't fill my screen is that I used it in an alertDialog. So RelativeLayouts parent isn't the screen but the alertDialog. Since an alertDialog wraps its content it doesn't fill the entire screen.

Android ScrollView not scrolling at all

Below is my XML code, I want the whole view to scroll, but it's just not working, please help, with what's wrong;

I've tried using,
android:fillViewport="true"
but of no help.

A ScrollView is a FrameLayout, meaning you should place one child in it containing the entire contents to scroll; this child may itself be a layout manager with a complex hierarchy of objects.
So here you have to take LinearLayout or RelativeLayout and then you have to put different hierarchy of component.

If ScrollView fits to your device screen it would not be scrollable, so make sure content inside ScrollView takes space larger than your screen size.
