Library project showing wrong modules - android

I have two projects side by side
A library containing two modules - a custom view and a sample application
A LibGdx application with several modules, dependent on the library project
The problem is, when I open the library project in Android Studio it shows all of the modules from the LibGdx project as well as it's own two. This means I cannot even build the sample application because the run configuration only allows the 'android' module of the LibGdx project to be selected. (Meaning I can only use classes from the android module's manifest)
I assume the problem must be something to do with the LibGdx generated gradle files but I can't find the issue.

Android with Libgdx: cannot resolve symbol GoogleSignInOptions

I'm developing a game on Libgdx. And I can not set up GoogleSignIn in the application. I'm using this instructions:
https://developers.google.com/identity/sign-in/android/start-integrating
Code in onCreate() method:
GoogleSignInOptions gso = new GoogleSignInOptions.Builder(GoogleSignInOptions.DEFAULT_SIGN_IN)
.requestEmail()
.build();

In my libgdx project, how to fix: "ERROR: No value has been specified for property 'manifestOutputDirectory'."?

Summary
I am a begginer in libgdx, trying to set the initial configuration for this library, but the gradle sync is giving error. The default program runs and it doesn't show any build error, only the gradle-sync shows any.
When I click sync project with gradle files, it concludes:
ERROR: No value has been specified for property 'manifestOutputDirectory'.

How should I fix it?
I tried several things to fix this problem and the one that did it was updating Gradle. Android studio popped up and said "Do you want to update Gradle?" and I hit the update button and then this error went away.

No problem in injection of firebase-ui-auth artifact to android module through root build.gradle.
Add jcenter() in repositories for all projects
repositories {
mavenLocal()
mavenCentral()
maven { url "https://oss.sonatype.org/content/repositories/snapshots/" }
maven { url "https://oss.sonatype.org/content/repositories/releases/" }
maven { url 'https://maven.fabric.io/public'}
jcenter()
}
Sync & build.
Add In your app/build.gradle file add a dependency on one of the libraries.
dependencies {
// FirebaseUI Database only
compile 'com.firebaseui:firebase-ui-database:1.2.0'
// FirebaseUI Auth only
compile 'com.firebaseui:firebase-ui-auth:1.2.0'
// FirebaseUI Storage only
compile 'com.firebaseui:firebase-ui-storage:1.2.0'
// Single target that includes all FirebaseUI libraries above
compile 'com.firebaseui:firebase-ui:1.2.0'
}
You need to configure firebase on project level gradle.
buildscript {
dependencies {
// Add Classpath here..
classpath 'com.google.gms:google-services:3.0.0'
}
}
Also Add plugin in app module gradle at last line (bottom of gradle code).
apply plugin: 'com.google.gms.google-services'
Don't forget to add google-services.json file in app folder.
you can get this file from https://console.firebase.google.com
by replacing Implemenation with Compile in dependency solve my problem
before : implemantation'com.firebaseui:firebase-ui-auth:1.2.0'
after : compile 'com.firebaseui:firebase-ui-auth:1.2.0'

There is an answer on Stack that says all you need to do is add this to your gradle:
dependencies {
appengineSdk 'com.google.appengine:appengine-java-sdk:1.9.42'
compile 'com.google.appengine:appengine-endpoints:1.9.42'
compile ('com.google.appengine:appengine-endpoints-deps:1.9.42'){
exclude "sep_approx_spanish.txt" //added
}
compile 'javax.servlet:servlet-api:2.5'
compile files('src/main/webapp/WEB-INF/lib/objectify-5.1.12.jar')
compile files('src/main/webapp/WEB-INF/lib/guava-19.0.jar')
compile files('src/main/webapp/WEB-INF/lib/gcm-server-1.0.2.jar')
}
However this gives me another error:
Error:Could not find method exclude() for arguments [sep_approx_spanish.txt] on DefaultExternalModuleDependency{group='com.google.appengine', name='appengine-endpoints-deps', version='1.9.42', configuration='default'} of type org.gradle.api.internal.artifacts.dependencies.DefaultExternalModuleDependency.
I've looked through my client gradle and server, I can't find anywhere I am calling the same library twice or anything like that. Not sure what has happened.
Adding Android Client and Backend Gradle below:

Integrate Fabric with Libgdx

I am trying to integrate the Fabric SDK with my libgdx application for Android.
The Android Studio plugin provided by fabric.io does not work with my Gradle build files (generated by the Libgdx tool). The plugin just does not touch them.
So I tried to edit them manually.
This is my build.gradle file:
buildscript {
repositories {
mavenCentral()
maven { url 'https://maven.fabric.io/public' }
}
dependencies {
classpath 'com.android.tools.build:gradle:1.1.+'
classpath 'io.fabric.tools:gradle:1.+'
}
}
allprojects {
apply plugin: "eclipse"
apply plugin: "idea"
version = '1.0'
ext {
appName = 'App'
gdxVersion = '1.5.4'
roboVMVersion = '1.0.0-beta-04'
box2DLightsVersion = '1.3'
ashleyVersion = '1.3.1'
aiVersion = '1.5.0'
}
repositories {
mavenCentral()
maven { url "https://oss.sonatype.org/content/repositories/snapshots/" }
maven { url "https://oss.sonatype.org/content/repositories/releases/" }
}
}
project(":desktop") {
apply plugin: "java"
dependencies {
compile project(":core")
compile "com.badlogicgames.gdx:gdx-backend-lwjgl:$gdxVersion"
compile "com.badlogicgames.gdx:gdx-platform:$gdxVersion:natives-desktop"
compile "com.badlogicgames.gdx:gdx-freetype-platform:$gdxVersion:natives-desktop"
}
}
project(":android") {
apply plugin: "android"
apply plugin: 'io.fabric'
configurations { natives }
dependencies {
compile project(":core")
compile "com.badlogicgames.gdx:gdx-backend-android:$gdxVersion"

compile 'com.android.support:appcompat-v7:22.1.1'

}
The SDK is just not in the classpath.
I'm using this way to add Fabric (Crashlytics) to my LibGDX projects.
This is my build.gradle.
buildscript {
repositories {
mavenCentral()
maven { url "https://oss.sonatype.org/content/repositories/snapshots/" }
maven { url 'https://maven.fabric.io/public' }
}
dependencies {
classpath 'com.android.tools.build:gradle:1.2.3'
///...
classpath 'io.fabric.tools:gradle:1.+'
}
}
///...
project(":android") {
apply plugin: 'com.android.application'
apply plugin: 'io.fabric'
repositories {
jcenter()
maven { url 'https://maven.fabric.io/public' }
}
///....
dependencies {
//...
compile('com.crashlytics.sdk.android:crashlytics:2.2.2#aar') {
transitive = true;
}
//...
I think the only difference with your gradle config is adding crashlytics dependency.
Now add android.permission.INTERNET permission in your manifest, also in onCreate method of AndroidLauncher add this line
#Override
protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
Fabric.with(this, new Crashlytics());
///...
Don't forget to create fabric.properties file in your android module and add these lines to it:
apiSecret= YOUR_API_SECRET_FROM_PANEL
apiKey=YOUR_API_KEY_FROM_PANEL
Now click on (fabric plugin for android studio) and sign in then click on install crashlytics (or other services) , after some next buttons you will see a dialog which tells you to run your application for activating fabric.
Now you will see your game in fabric panel.
