Gradle error when adding firebase - android

I have a problem in gradle when I am adding firebase or google ads:
.
Also you can check the code from gradle below. What am I missing?
android {
compileSdkVersion 27
defaultConfig {
applicationId "com.jnugzar"
minSdkVersion 15
targetSdkVersion 27
versionCode 1
versionName "1.0"
testInstrumentationRunner "android.support.test.runner.AndroidJUnitRunner"
}
buildTypes {
release {
minifyEnabled false
proguardFiles getDefaultProguardFile('proguard-android.txt'), 'proguard-rules.pro'
}
}
}
dependencies {
implementation fileTree(include: ['*.jar'], dir: 'libs')
implementation 'com.android.support:appcompat-v7:27.1.1'
implementation 'com.android.support.constraint:constraint-layout:1.1.2'
testImplementation 'junit:junit:4.12'
androidTestImplementation 'com.android.support.test:runner:1.0.2'
androidTestImplementation 'com.android.support.test.espresso:espresso-core:3.0.2'
implementation 'com.google.firebase:firebase-core:16.0.1'
implementation 'com.google.firebase:firebase-ads:15.0.1'
}

Add implementation 'com.google.firebase:firebase-core:16.0.0' in Module Gradle
and In Root gradle make sure you have setup properly
buildscript {
repositories {
google()
jcenter()
}
dependencies {
classpath 'com.android.tools.build:gradle:3.1.2'
// NOTE: Do not place your application dependencies here; they belong
// in the individual module build.gradle files
classpath 'com.google.gms:google-services:4.0.1'
}
}

Just update your firebase to the latest version (update firebase-ads) and add firebase-core, for version you can check this link:
implementation 'com.google.firebase:firebase-core:16.0.1'
implementation 'com.google.firebase:firebase-ads:15.0.1'
And make sure you are using these:
classpath 'com.android.tools.build:gradle:3.1.3'
classpath 'com.google.gms:google-services:4.0.1'
Try this:
apply plugin: 'com.android.application'
android {
compileSdkVersion 27
defaultConfig {
applicationId "com.jnugzar"
minSdkVersion 15
targetSdkVersion 27
versionCode 1
versionName "1.0"
testInstrumentationRunner "android.support.test.runner.AndroidJUnitRunner"
}
buildTypes {
release {
minifyEnabled false
proguardFiles getDefaultProguardFile('proguard-android.txt'), 'proguard-rules.pro'
}
}
}
dependencies {
implementation fileTree(include: ['*.jar'], dir: 'libs')
implementation 'com.android.support:appcompat-v7:27.1.1'
implementation 'com.android.support:customtabs:27.1.1'
implementation 'com.android.support:design:27.1.1'
implementation 'com.android.support:animated-vector-drawable:27.1.1'
implementation 'com.android.support:support-media-compat:27.1.1'
implementation 'com.android.support.constraint:constraint-layout:1.1.2'
testImplementation 'junit:junit:4.12'
androidTestImplementation 'com.android.support.test:runner:1.0.2'
androidTestImplementation 'com.android.support.test.espresso:espresso-core:3.0.2'
implementation 'com.google.firebase:firebase-core:16.0.1'
implementation 'com.google.firebase:firebase-ads:15.0.1'
}
And:
// Top-level build file where you can add configuration options common to all sub-projects/modules.
buildscript {
repositories {
google()
jcenter()
}
dependencies {
classpath 'com.android.tools.build:gradle:3.1.3'
classpath 'com.google.gms:google-services:4.0.1'
}
}
allprojects {
repositories {
google()
jcenter()
}
}

my gradle sync gets error when adding the firebase to project and i have solved my problem with adding this lines to gradle.properties :
android.useAndroidX=true
android.enableJetifier=true
and adding firebase.core to my module gradle dependencies

Program type already present: com.google.firebase.auth.zza

I really don't know what's going on, I've searched everything and nothing worked. If someone could help me, I would really appreciate. I change all dependencies and libraries to try to solve it, but nothing worked.
This error occurs after I change API 27 to 28 of my project.
if I change any dependency version then chances to occur more error in my project.

Program type already present in android support

When I try to run the application this error occurs:
Error:Program type already present:android.support.v4.os.ResultReceiver
I think that it is a dependency issue but I do not know how to solve this.

At first add
implementation 'com.google.firebase:firebase-core:12.0.1'
Do not add dependency with + . Please try to use the same and specific version of the dependency for all.
For example
Instead of
implementation 'com.android.support:support-v4:26.+'
use
implementation 'com.android.support:support-v4:27.1.1'

unable to merge dex. Tried everything still not working

I have tried with:
1)Clean and rebuild.
2)multiDexEnabled true.
But still the error shown is:Error:Execution failed for task ':app:transformDexArchiveWithExternalLibsDexMergerForDebug'.
java.lang.RuntimeException: com.android.builder.dexing.DexArchiveMergerException: Unable to merge dex
Any suggestions how to fix it, please help ?

failed to resolve gradle build szagurskii

i been try to add grade build on dependencies into andriod studio. its says failed to resolve. i need help...
failed to resolve com.szagurskii:patternedtextwatcher:0.5.0
implementation 'com.squareup.retrofit2:converted-gson:2.3.0'
Here my gradle build
apply plugin: 'com.android.application'
android {
compileSdkVersion 27
defaultConfig {
applicationId "my.wedee.com.wedeeapplication"
minSdkVersion 14
targetSdkVersion 27
versionCode 1
versionName "1.0"
testInstrumentationRunner "android.support.test.runner.AndroidJUnitRunner"
}
buildTypes {
release {
minifyEnabled false
proguardFiles getDefaultProguardFile('proguard-android.txt'), 'proguard-rules.pro'
}
}
}
dependencies {
implementation fileTree(dir: 'libs', include: ['*.jar'])
implementation 'com.android.support:appcompat-v7:27.1.1'
implementation 'com.android.support.constraint:constraint-layout:1.1.0'
testImplementation 'junit:junit:4.12'
androidTestImplementation 'com.android.support.test:runner:1.0.2'
androidTestImplementation 'com.android.support.test.espresso:espresso- core:3.0.2'
implementation 'com.android.support:cardview-v7:27.1.1'
implementation 'com.android.support:design:27.1.1'
implementation 'com.rengwuxian.materialedittext:library:2.1.4'
implementation 'com.szagurskii:patternedtextwatcher:0.5.0'
implementation 'com.github.d-max:spots-dialog:0.7#aar'
implementation 'com.squareup.retrofit2:retrofit:2.3.0'
implementation 'com.squareup.retrofit2:converted-gson:2.3.0'
}
patternedtextwatcher is distributed via jCenter rather than Maven
https://bintray.com/zsavely/maven/patternedtextwatcher/0.5.0
Ensure you have jcenter in your project level build.gradle, something like this;
buildscript {
repositories {
google()
jcenter()
}
dependencies {
classpath 'com.android.tools.build:gradle:3.1.2'
// NOTE: Do not place your application dependencies here; they belong
// in the individual module build.gradle files
}
}
allprojects {
repositories {
google()
jcenter()
}
}
failed to resolve com.szagurskii:patternedtextwatcher:0.5.0
You should add below in your PROJECT LEVEL build.gradle section.
You can use SNAPSHOT
implementation 'com.szagurskii:patternedtextwatcher:0.6.0-SNAPSHOT'
Then
allprojects {
repositories {
google()
jcenter()
maven {
url "https://oss.sonatype.org/content/repositories/snapshots"
}
}
}
Then Clean-Rebuild-Run (With Internet).
