get touch shape in Developer Option - android

I want to implement function that shows touch data in Developer options.
More specifically, I want to get shape of screen and fingers meet. Maybe shape looks like ellipse.
Is there any way to get source code of Developer options? or how can I implement these function?

Android is open source. You can find the Settings app source code at:
https://android.googlesource.com/platform/packages/apps/Settings/
Bear in mind that the Settings app uses many things that are not available to Android SDK developers.

How to add an overlay on widget on android auto

I'm looking into Android APIs in order to understand how to add an overlay widget to Andoid Auto but to no avail.
I'm not willing to add the widget on the main phone's screen but on the car display/head unit: my purpose is to write a simple widget which overlays the android auto bottom bar and adds a very readable clock (since the embedded one is really small!!!).
I've looked into existing tools for this to no avail and can't even find any hint if this is even possible using the APIs to target specifically the second screen used by AndroidAuto.
The reasonable starting point might be the WindowManager with appropriate LayoutParameters but this does not seem to be the right way.
Any hint?
Android Auto is designed to help minimize distraction so drivers can focus on the road. This means you can't do much, unless you have access to the full Android Auto SDK. Currently, only some big companies have access to the official SDK. There's also an unofficial SDK that allows you to make your own custom apps, but since version 3.0 Android Auto no longer supports launching custom apps.

Redirect android screen inside an app

I've developed different personal apps for android and now i'm interested in google cardboard project
So, would be possible to create an application for android to implement the same system of this project : http://www.vrdesktop.net ( windows only ). In few words mirroring the android screen inside another app that will split everything ..
actually i don't know if there are some usefull api/ways to accomplish the job.
EDIT1: i've prepared a draw to better show the idea: https://docs.google.com/drawings/d/15AYvjesIhZDTe5mfOmm5TzhRkyxmDA6L0jI9MzdKbB4/edit
After long researches i've found an open source project that is doing exactly what i was looking for:

P.S. Thank you for useless downvoting

What do they utilize to build android apps with custom graphics and controls ?

What I mean to say while you're just getting started with the development and say you add a slider theres a predefined skin for that and you can place it somewhere on the screen, but in some apps there are things like a knob in a place of slider which you can rotate to do the same stuff what the slider does . How do they do that, does it require openGL or something I am not asking for a complete tutorial or something just curious on what stuff goes into building such thing
Mostly, if something is not provided out of the box, you will have to build your own control.
For example, you mention a Knob. That isn't available in the Android SDK. Such a control could prove to be useful.
Here is a tutorial to build such a custom Control: http://go-lambda.blogspot.in/2012/02/rotary-knob-widget-on-android.html
This is an image of the final result from the tutorial linked above:
Here is an example of a custom slider / seek bar: http://permadi.com/blog/2011/11/android-sdk-custom-slider-bar-seekbar/
This should give you a rough idea on how to go about creating your own custom views.
And finally, what I personally find the best possible resource for keeping track of almost all good Custom Views is here: http://www.androidviews.net/
The androidviews.net website has shut down. Android Arsenal is a new website that lists several third party Android libraries.

Moving the Hard Button Functionality (Home,Back,Search<Menu) to soft buttons in android

I want to add the functinality of Home,Back,Searcha and Menu Hard keys via some soft keys which can be accessed anytime the device is up.
I know their are few applications available which already do this, but i wanted to know the way this can be implemented.
Any help would be appreciated.
As stated elsewhere, the SDK is not enough to emulate hardware buttons: you need to be able to modify or at least call system sources, so you should be compiling Android from sources.
That said you can emulate the software button by calling "injectKeyEvent" in IWindowManager like done in these examples:

Adding App Specific Entry into the Android Settings Menu

As I know, we can add our app specific menu entries in iPhone's Settings menu. I want to know how same can be done in Android? I am developing for Android 1.6 using Eclipse Galileo. Please guide me.
Probably the closest thing to what you seek is the Account Authenticator feature. For more information see this question and look for the android:accountPreferences attribute. This allows your preference Activity to show up in the Accounts area of Settings.
Apart from that, while it's difficult to prove a negative, I've analyzed the Settings source code for Jelly Bean and I'm pretty certain this is impossible. To see for yourself, examine the onBuildHeaders() method in the Settings.java file. The headers array is maintained internally to the Settings Activity and the only flexibility seems to be the Account mechanism mentioned above.
Read the details information from here .
Nice one example here.
Use android:settingsActivity in your Manifest. It works for Livewallpaper or Input Method. You can't use it for everything or for your particular App.
You will find this good for you.Check this
this will let you know many options to customize your App
Have a Look # this linkPreferenceActivity .
