how to left to right toolbar api 16 - android

I'm using NavigationView and add toolbar with include . I use android:layoutDirection="rtl" and all apis works fine but in api 16 it doesn't work.
So how can i left to right toolbar in api 16?

Unfortunately it's not possible to use android:layoutDirection="rtl" in API 16 or lower.
android:layoutDirection="rtl" was first included in API 17 and higher.

There is no way to support rtl Toolbars in APIs below 17. Try to use a custom Toolbar such as RtlToolbar.

Navigation Drawer covers Actionbar

I wanted Navigation Drawer in my application but I don't want Navigation Drawer to covers my Action Bar. Action bar should be visible always. I searched internet and i got some solution from stackoverflow and some blogs but all are same. I referred this solution Using Navigation Drawer without TitleBar or ActionBar, but still its same. As they mentioned in the answer, i gave android.support.v7.widget.Toolbar first then android.support.design.widget.NavigationView.
Android studio design preview is showing correctly but in realtime mobile phone actionbar covered by navigation drawer.

You need to put you drawer layout after toolbar ... Just Change your layout like this... and if you don't need header then why using any layout for header just remove app:headerLayout="#layout/nav_header_album_dashboard" from navigation View

in NavigationView set margintop equal to size of toolbar. it work for me

Blank bar at top of toolbar in Android Marshmallow

Got an empty white bar at the top of toolbar only in Android MarshMallow Versions.
All other android versions are set to display correctly.

Probably because you're doing some next-level advanced Android stuff (such as using CoordinatorLayout and fitsSystemWindows="true") and the normal paddings for the content are too much. Add this right after calling attach():
mBottomBar.noTopOffset();

Android toolbar not hiding entirely (> Lollipop)

In my app I use AppBarLayout with Toolbar inside it as my support action bar. I want it to hide/show when user is scrolling content. On KitKat everything works fine, but on Lollipop and Marshmallow Toolbar isn't scrolling its full height. Screen with toolbar fully scrolled

app_content__main.xml is just FrameLayout into which I am adding fragments. I use support:appcompat-v7:23.3.0 and support:design:23.2.0 (cannot use 23.3.0 because of another bug with toolbar). It was working with 23.0.0, but is there any way I can do it work without moving to this previous version?

You have to delete the android:fitsSystemWindows="true" from the CoordinatorLayout.

Change your toolbar XML this way:

However, Material Design guidelines state that Navigation Drawer should be above the Toolbar.

You should simply add
android:layout_marginTop="#dimen/abc_action_bar_default_height_material"
to your layout which you are using as drawer.
This will automatically adjust the navigation drawer below the toolbar and also supports different screen sizes.

You can add layout_marginTop like this,

If you create a project as a Navigation Drawer project(Navigation Drawer Activity) it will give you four XML files at the creation in your layout folder
app_bar_main
content_main
navigatin_main
activity_main

Your Activity is linked with activity_main
activity_main has the app_bar_main and navigation_view(drawer)
app_bar_main has the toolbar and content_main by default
now lets remove activity_main and set its contents directly to app bar main and use it as the main layout for Activity.
To add the drawer under tool bar
add it under the android.support.design.widget.AppBarLayout because is contains the toolbar and its should be on top.
here is an example of app_bar_main.XML

An Easy and Good solution is set fitsSystemWindows=false for
android.support.v4.widget.DrawerLayout
that has id as
android:id="#+id/drawer_layout"
And for navigationView set layout_marginTop as ?attr/actionBarSize that would get the actionbar size and set it as margin
