Since I updated my Android Studio from 3.1.4 to 3.2.1, it freezes all the time and it is really frustrating. Same problem for my colleagues. Does anyone face the same problem? Is there a way to fix it? thanks

Yesterday I opened Android Studio like every day and suddenly it got stuck on the initial loading screen. I don't remember making any updates or installing any plugins.

Recently my android studio got stuck in gradle building very frequently, as shown in the picture above, which already took 30m to run and still keeps running. The only way to finish it is just force to stop android studio and restart the computer. Is there any way to solve this problem? Thanks for any idea!
I've been facing this issue since today. Yesterday I updated Android Studio from 3.4 to 3.5 and it was working fine but since today it's been crashing on startup. When I start it shows the splash screen and then tries to load the project and suddenly closes or crashes without showing any error message. What should I do? Is there any error log I can refer to understand what is the problem, please help me with this.
After updating Android Studio to 3.5, I faced like you. If you are using anti-virus softwares.
Try close any anti-virus software or add Android Studio 3.5 to whitelist
Below was my problem and finally I come to know Android Studio is crashing because of it.
I have updated android studio to latest version 2.3 a week back. After so much research I'm somehow able to fix gradle build.But now android studio is not creating new projcects.It is stuck at gradle build for project.I've waited for almost 1 hour.It was at the same point.I updated the gradle to the latest version 3.4.1 but I dont know why I'm getting this error.Its not even showing any error.
Someone please help me...Thaks a lot in advance....
Update your SDK especially build tool and extras.
Delete temp files of system.
After that restart your system and android studio and create new a new project and wait until it completely build(may be it take some time more than it's usual time, but it happen first time only, so have patience).
Hope this will resolve issue.
If still you have same problem; re-install your Android studio.
I've been having an issue with android studio for the past two weeks, it started happening out of the blue, everything was working juts fine until one day it just wouldn't start, it's display an error for me, I tried doing the following since then:
Reinstall the same version on android studio (which is the latest)
Install different versions of android studio
Restore my computer to a previous date in which everything was working fine
Needless to say that all of the above hasn't worked
Would anyone know how to solve this problem ?

After failing to find a solution, I just downloaded Intellij IDEA, it's great and has the same interface as android studio, so I'd advise anyone having issues with android studio to use it
