Fragment's onCreateView doesn't get called when attached to viewpager - android

I'm trying to use a ViewPager that contains a fragment.
When I add a fragment using a FragmentPagerAdapter it doesn't work, and I noticed the 'onCreateView' function doesn't get called.
I tried following some tutorials but I can't seem to find the problem.

Is it okay to delete a CompanionObject on a fragment?

So I'm working with Android Studio, and I found a video on youtube on how to set tab layout. I'm trying to create a fragment with new>Fragment>Fragment(Blank) and I'm following youtube instructions to remove everything else except onCreate and onCreateView in Fragment class. But when i try to put everything together, i get this error:
Classifier 'PemasukanFragment' does not have a companion object, and thus must be initialized here
I use AddActivity class to hold my fragment, the code look like this:

I don't know if companion objects can be removed. But if it can, how to solve this error? Any help is appreciated

Responding to ViewPager2 Fragments Events in Activity

I have a main activity that contains a ViewPager2 and a TabLayout to house a few fragments. Each fragment will have buttons that I want to trigger actions in the main activity. However, I'm not seeing how to set up the buttons/event handlers so that the main activity is notified whenever a button is pressed inside one of the fragments. Thanks!

You can pass the this object of activity in specific frament constructor and use from fragment to call the activity class method
for example:

Why is my Viewpager not showing any fragments after opening the second time and why can childfragmentmanager not be used?

I have a Fragment (InnerFragment) placed inside a Viewpager (MainViewPager).
This Fragment (InnerFragment) does also contain a ViewPager (NestedViewPager) with multiple Fragments. When I swipe or open the InnerFragment everything works fine and the NestedViewPager shows all Fragments the way it should.
When I leave the InnerFragment after swiping the MainViewPager and go back to the InnerFragment it is blank and nothing shows up.
One solution as described in the internet is using the childfragmentmanager. Unfortunately this doesn't work because if I do so following exception is thrown.

You must use the childFragmentManager in order for the state to be restored properly.
You shouldn't be using the target fragment API at all. In fact, if you're using the childFragmentManager, your child fragments already have a reference to the parent via requireParentFragment() - just use that instead of targetFragment.

Swip ViewPager2 is slow

I have 7 fragments, I swip between them but it's slow, I did a test adding a fragment that just contains a textView, the swip to this fragment is fast, the difference between my fragments and this one is the amount of components inside.

So when I run the the app both toast appears in the same page
The ViewPager will not only create the current page, but also the some before or after. With setOffscreenPageLimit(int) you can adapt these values a little.
Set the number of pages that should be retained to either side of the current page in the view hierarchy in an idle state. Pages beyond this limit will be recreated from the adapter when needed.
