I'm trying to make a search bar in my app (edit: for the content in the database linked to my app), but every tutorial that I found makes that in the appbar, is there any way to make a widget like google search bar in the app?

Can anyone provide an example of how to implement the play-stop-pause animation from the Material Design "Delightful Details" page?

I want to make an Android app that sends a mail when i get something in my notification bar on my phone. I can´t find any information about how to check if there is something in the notification bar. Is this possible? If so, is this documented anywhere?
Write a NotificationListenerService. It will be notified as notifications come and go.

I currently have a wordpress blog: www.androidfunandmore.info and I was wondering how do I go about making an android app for it?
The easiest way is to add the Mobile plugin to word press and then create a bookmark to it. This makes a web app (not a native app), but it looks good and it's easy.
