how to put scroll view in collapsing toolbar layout in android?

I want something similar to below asked question where instead of 'view 1' ,it's going to be a scroll view :

AppBarLayout also requires a separate scrolling sibling in order to know when to scroll. The binding is done through the AppBarLayout.ScrollingViewBehavior class, meaning that you should set your scrolling view's behavior to be an instance of AppBarLayout.ScrollingViewBehavior. Keep toolbar fixed and other view not

In AndroidManifest I have the android:windowSoftInputMode set to adjustResize which doesn't 'squeeze' the content when keyboard is visible and keeps the Toolbar fixed at all times, even when I scroll.
However, I have another view at the bottom, out of the ScrollView, which I want to be fixed as well but at the same time not block any content when keyboard pops up- right now it moves with the keyboard as of the following property layout_gravity="bottom".
I could just toggle the visibility of that layout when keyboard shows/hides but that doesn't seem the most elegant solution. What would you suggest? Any help very much appreciated :)

You should solve the issue by telling the ScrollView to not register as a scroll container by adding android:isScrollContainer="false". Your new ScrollViewshould look like this:

Scrolling RecyclerView behind a AppBarLayout

I'm trying to achieve an effect like the videos in the "behavior section" at this URL ( Google Design official site ). It's the same effect of Google Photo, I guess, with a search bar on the top of the RecyclerView that disappear/appear on scrolling up/down
I don't know how to get it, I started with CoordinatorLayout and AppBarLayout, but I can't get the RecyclerView visible behind the AppBarLayout, it always remains white, covering the RecyclerView as show below ( result and code [edit: added image with layout layers] ).
Or it's a custom CoordinatorLayout.Behavior ?
Any help or suggestion would be appreciated, thank you

Fragment from View Pager hiding behind Tab Bar

I am having an issue with a Tab bar and ViewPager in my android project. What the app does it has an activity which hosts a tab layout and then has 2 fragment which represents each of the tabs.
When the activity is opened it posts to an API to get some data and puts the data into a data adapter for a Recycler View and Card layout in each of the fragments.
The recycler view will contain 3 items but only 2 are being shown as the first is being hidden under the toolbar and/or the tab bar as shown in the screenshot below.

Below is the screenshot as mentioned above which shows the problem. I've pixelated some of the text but it should you what I mean, there should be 3 items but the first item is hiding underneath the tab bar.

Edit: As suggested below by #smeet and #hardik, adding the scroll behavior app:layout_behavior="#string/appbar_scrolling_view_behavior" should fix the problem while preserving the scroll behavior. Scroll behaviors only work if the view is a direct child of the coordinator layout.

From the docs, CoordinatorLayout is a super-powered FrameLayout. So you can expect the typical "lay views on top of other views" FrameLayout behavior.

Adding :
app:layout_behavior="#string/appbar_scrolling_view_behavior"
in ViewPager resolved issue in my case.

if we will wrap app bar layout with linear layout than toolbar will not hide when you scroll so accepted answer might not help you if you want to hide toolbar when you scroll.
Smeet did it right way but not explained! here is full example with explanation.

Replace your FrameLayout with android.support.v4.widget.NestedScrollView
NestedScrollView is just like ScrollView, but it supports acting as both a nested scrolling parent and child on both new and old versions of Android. Nested scrolling is enabled by default.

Using FrameLayout as child of CoordinatorLayout works quite well. The toolbar is collapsing like it's supposed to. I had a problem in the beginning, when I used outdated libraries.
Here are the gradle dependencies I'm using right now:

The reason for that behaviour is that the Framelayout doesn't specify a Behaviour. The CoordinatorLayout relies on the child view to handle the Behaviour.

Edit: Although FrameLayout is not a custom view, it doesnt specify a behaviour which CoordinateLayout seeks.

In my app it works only with RecyclerView. Maybe you should use RecyclerView instead of ListView.

You can achieve scrolling with Framelayout inside your CoordinatorLayout. For it you have to use app:layout_behavior="#string/appbar_scrolling_view_behavior" inside your frameLayout as well as inside the scrolling view with which you want this collapsing effect.
For ex- If you are inflating RecyclerView inside your frameLayout, then you have to use app:layout_behavior="#string/appbar_scrolling_view_behavior" inside your recyclerrView also.

Your container FrameLayout is defined right the problem lies with the Fragment. The Fragment should have RecyclerView & not ListView as it is now deprecated.
Example:

I use the same structure in my app & it works perfect.

ListView does not implement NestedScrollingChild so it does not work.
RecyclerView does, so it can propagate the scroll to the NestedScrollingParent (the CoordinatorLayout).

You only need to replace
FrameLayout
to
android.support.v4.widget.NestedScrollView
in this way:
