Exoplayer can't play only audio for HLS

I have link only audio https://storage.googleapis.com/as-piepme/1465/livestream/1465.fef238cdc9d9eb0b958d4eb23080e28b/index.m3u8 but Exoplayer can't play above link,
it return "source error". But both IOS and Chrome run fine. My code:
SimpleExoPlayer player = new SimpleExoPlayer.Builder(context).build();
player.setMediaItem(MediaItem.fromUri(Uri.parse(linkPlay)));
player.prepare();
player.setPlayWhenReady(true);

You need to use a Media source.

Android ExoPlayer Can't Play HLS (HTTP Live Streaming)

I want to use ExoPlayer to play HLS (HTTP Live Streaming).
But I got the following error:
E/ExoPlayerImplInternal: Source error.
com.google.android.exoplayer2.upstream.HttpDataSource$HttpDataSourceException: Unable to connect to https://my_url/file.m3u8

Total newbie here but hope it'll help. I've been doing the same thing as you and I noticed that unencrypted hls stream works. Try using a link with http. Just to check. I can't get Exoplayer to play https hls stream.

Exoplayer/Android Media Player Not Playing Video with AC3 Audio

I'm using Exoplayer version 2 for playing Video from Internal Storage and it works fine but whenever video contains ac3 type audio,exoplayer not plays audio,it only display video.

How to create a dialog with available qualities of DASH content in ExoPlayer?

I am using Exoplayer in my application and I want to show DashMediaSource.
I did it and the video will play this Code:

But I need to show the user a selector for the quality of this vide0.
I just want to get all available qualities from my dash file and show it to the use.
In ExoPlayer 1.5.8, I used getTrackCount() to get all available qualities but in ExoPlayer 2.5.3 it is not available anymore.
How can I do that?

exoplayer- automatic change of quality is not working (hls)

i have little problem with exoplayer. almost everything works fine when i try to play video from hls stream. hls stream contains 3 different sets of chunklists each for different bandwidth.
but hls adaptive streaming is not working and player works only with one chunklist and with slow internet connection is this solution unusable.

The key here is you need to pass the same "bandwidthMeter" you passed in to AdaptiveTrackSelection.Factory to the dataSourceFactory too.
Only after these changes the Exoplayer does adaptive streaming as expected.
