int android.support.v7.widget.GridLayoutManager.getItemCount()' on a null object reference

here getItemCount() not null, but here getlayoutmanager is null. plz help me to solved this. i'm trying to loadmore data when user scroll down recyclerview at end of scrolling load another data so on. This Error occurred in adapter.
here getLayoutManager() is get null:

You never set any kind of LayoutManager to your listView.
You must set the layout manager before creating your custom adapter object.
You can set it by calling: recyclerView.setLayoutManager(new GridLayoutManager(this, numberOfColumns)); Then you are able to get it later in your ImageAdapter class.

How to apply RecycleView in Fragment

I have a fragment, the name is galery. in the fragment galery i'll showing a recycleView that contains name list. but i find an error in this script :

how to set on click listener on recyclerview and open a static page and get content from json url

i have a series of items in recyclerview .i want to set on click listener and open a description page of specific item and set data from json url. i have already made an adapter for description screen and a bean class. i dont know how to set adapter on layout. is it possible to set an adapter on linear layout to show static content from json url?

How to sent JSON value from Fragment to module?

Yo are creating the AppShowModule appShowModule111 = new AppShowModule(); Object but you never populated your adaapter with that object. Your JsonObjectRequest onResponse() should look like this;

use same recyclerview adapter with different layout

I've a recyclerview adapter with 3 textviews. I used a model class to set texts. Now I want to use the same adapter with different layout and in a different class which only have 1 textview. When I tried, I got NullPointerException (may be becuz the other 2 textviews are blank). Is there any way to use same adapter with different layout and in different class?

You can use the getItemViewType().
Make your adapter(here TimeLineAdapter) extend RecyclerView.Adapter only.
You can change the Adapter's constructer to recieve ItemType and use it in the getItemViewType
Override the int getItemViewType (int position) method in your adapter.
In the onCreateViewHolder you can differentiate between which layout you want to inflate by using the viewType parameter.
In onBindViewHolder use instanceof to check which ViewHolder was created and call the related bind functions
