Game crashes on start for unknown reason - android

I have a unity3d project which, up to previous build, ran with no issues on android.
It is already set up to use the new google play store package format, which gets correctly accepted on the play store. The previous build, even with all of play store settings filled in, worked correctly when built in the pure non-play store .apk and copied to device and installed from the file.
Afterwards, the only change I made was adding a single clause into if condition in the code (which was just "if(false && originalCondition)", the intention was to disable that part of code, it's not relevant to the issue, it was part of code that handled starting and stopping particle effect within the gameplay), and now when I build it as an apk, and install it manually on the phone, and try to run it, it crashes immediately in the typical way of the screen flashing black for a moment as it creates the window, and then I'm back to the phone's desktop.
I have absolutely no idea why, and absolutely no idea how to find out why, let alone how to fix it... :/
If anyone has any idea how to at least find out what the issue actually is, please let me know/help. Write any and all suggestions as "answers" even if they're not, please, since I don't think I'll get an actual answer solving the problem, just pointers on how to proceed, and since comments have length limit and no formatting, thanks. So, it seems this is bug in the unity version I'm using: 2019.2.0f1
The problem (as described here) seems to be that the game uses old il2cpp files with the new build (if the phone has Backup and Automatic Restore options enabled). Fix is deleting Android/data/ folder on the phone itself, since Unity re-creates those files on launch if they're missing.
Another way to fix this would be, I assume, switching the build format from il2cpp to anything else.
Lastly, this issue is fixed in Unity 2019.2.6

Kivy aplication crashes on splash screen

I have a simple app for android written in python 2.7.12 32-bit, kivy 1.9.1 on ubuntu 16.04 64. I am able to build the app with buildozer debug deploy but the app won't start. It crashes while loading itself but stays in the 'background'. I inspected the logcat and there seems to be only one error:
build.xml: Failed to find version-tag string. File must be updated.
In order to not erase potential customizations, the file will not be automatically regenerated.
If no changes have been made to the file, delete it manually and run the command again.
If you have made customizations to the build process, the file must be manually updated.
It is recommended to:
Copy current file to a safe location.
Delete original file.
Run command again to generate a new file.
Port customizations to the new file, by looking at the new rules
file located at /tools/ant/build.xml
Update file to contain version-tag: custom to prevent file from
being rewritten automatically by the SDK tools.
I have been searching for the solution and even found some related topics but none of them seems to be related to building with buildozer. I would do what the above list instructs but i was unable to locate the /tools/ant/build.xml.

All Unity APKS crash in an Android Phone

I build an android apps about naked 3d display with Unity. I run it in 4 android phones, it runs well. But when I run it in a naked 3d mobile phone, the apps crashed. And all the apps generated with Unity can't run in this phone, even the simplest scene in Unity. But the apps generated by Android Studio, it can run well. It really confused me!

MVVMCross 3.5.1 and xamarin android does not work

I have a question: is there somebody that use MVVMCross 3.5.1 with Api level android 21 and xamarin studio 5.9.3? I have a problem: I reference mvvmcross in an android app. I have a splashscreen and a firstview. When I tried to start with emulator I don't have any problem with level 15 emulator but when I tried it with the last version (Api 21) the app after splashscreen is closed without any error (not open the firstview).
Is there a solution?

Using WeakSubscribe from MvvmCross

I need to subscribe to INotifyPropertyChanged of one of my models in my ViewModel. My research led me to: How do I update the parent viewmodel when child viewmodel is updated.
I tried using WeakSubscribe as suggested in #3 but after entering and leaving the view several times my whole application either freezes or crashes.
