The editText field does not respond in a pop up window android - android

I am trying to implement an edit text field on a pop up windows, but do not get any focus when I click on it.
this is the pop up layout

I created a sample project with your layout and it seems that your layout is just fine.
Maybe the problem is how you create the pop up.
Here is the code to show a pop up window and the import is
import androidx.appcompat.app.AlertDialog.

Just a friendly recommendation... Instead of RelativeLayout use ConstraintLayout.

Set Done Button on Kotlin DialogFragment with multi choice Items

I have a DialogFragment with multi chose style, which means it does not dismiss on select/deselect. The only way to dismiss it seems to be to click on the device Back button.
Im finding it strange to have click the device back button to dismiss the dialog. Is there a way to add a Done button to the dialog, next to the title?

ScrollView in Dialog anchors to wrong place

I have an alertdialog with a custom layout, including a scrollview.
When the dialog appears, the scrollview is "cropped", and appears to be anchored to the top of the Screen, rather than the top of the dialog
I have searched SE for similar problems, and cannot find any.
Using a popup Window has exactly the same issue.
Here is my XML:

You don't set parent to layout inflater. Let dialog manages view arranging DialogFragment

Leanback focus problems

Hello guys I'm working on application and my layout structure is as following :

My problem is when I get to first row of browse fragment and first item in it and I want to go up (D-PAD-UP) to focus button it does nothing it works only when I push left ( D-PAD-LEFT). Anyone has solution for this ?
So the problem was in BrowseFrameLayout for some reason and to solve this issue I had to override onFocusSearchListener and manage focus myself.
In BrowseFragment which I extended I have this method :

Since you are using the RelativeLayout you should layout the components in the order that you would like to be navigated.
Using the XML attributes presented in the RelativeLayout reference document, you will be able to establish an navigation order too:

How to centralize buttons on android?

I'm having troubles to create a layout like that, the Dialog on left side of image. But I want to create it using horizontal orientation. I want that my layout have this appearance, but only with two buttons horizontally.
My problem is the layout xml file, I don't know how to start this layout... =(
The real problem is how to edit the xml file to the buttons get centralized, I tried a lot of thinks, padding, orientation, align etc... But I cant align that. My current layout is that. How can I centralize the buttons?
Can someone help me?

First, you need to create your desired layout with the buttons that you mentioned (I figured you can do this yourself). Then, you would use that layout to inflate an AlertDialog as I have done below:

Since you want your buttons to have custom backgrounds, I suggest you use an ImageButton and set the background property to your choice background.

Could you be more clear in your question please? I don't know if I got it right but I will try to explain it.
First, if you want to create a custom layout for you dialog, you should create a .xml file and then inflate it with this specific layout.
But I think that is not your case, what you want to do it's to simply create a custom dialog, right? The screen orientation doesn't matter (I don't know if you meant it).

You basically have the layout created so all you have to do is assign it to your custom dialog like so..
