how can make my xml images fit for all devices?

I'm new to designing of android, So I want my main screen images fit to all devices i want this MainScreen page fit to be in all devices. It has 3 images I have given weight but nothing seems to work if I test it on tab. Its not looking the way I want, here is the image
here is my XML .I know I should not give dp for height but how to make it look like that without giving sizes.

Create a bottom 3 section pane on android

How can I create the below layout in Android? I want the bottom bar to have a fixed size and the above-panel to grow based on the device size. Is there a library that's available to have the below effect?
Right now I used a relative layout but the height of the top panel doesn't grow.

Linear Layout does not fill the whole screen

Why the linear layout does not fill the whole screen?
As you can see I am using match parent in the linear layout.
If I delete the Scrollbar nothing changes. The button is not at the bottom of the screen.

Automatic adjustment of framelayout

I need to do something like this:
This application's user interface has one area containing multiple colored rectangles and another containing a SeekBar. When the user drags the SeekBar, the rectangles gradually change their color.
I'm using framelayouts (I don't know if there is something better) but I hardcoded the size of each framelayout and, of course, that is a bad idea.
How can I adapt the framelayouts and mantain the relations?

The above uses nested weights, which are sometimes bad for performance, but given what you're trying to do, it's the best option short of calculating them in code.

Dividing screen into two equal parts , can not set layout_weight

I guess question is silly, but I am missing something in this and want to understand.
I am dividing the screen into two equal parts. I know this can be done by setting weight. But I do not know why I can not set weight in Linear layout. Instead I am setting weightSum, but what I understood about weightSum is, it is space on screen left after setting width and height I guess.

In this button will occupy the half of the screen , and the other half is occupied by another Linear Layout , which contains a TextView & GridView

Problem:
You cant add a weightSum within a Relative layout that it is only bounded to linearlayout layout params itself.
solution:
add another linearlayout inside your relatie layout as a parent to both of the inner linear layout.

Weightsum is property used by parent to find the total weight sum by its children.This property is only applicable to LinearLayout. Its childrens should specify its weight with width or height as 0dp. You can find the tutorial here. So your layout.xml will be
