I am facing crashes in my android app w.r.t. firebase-android-sdk. I use the following firebase components in my app:
firebase-crashlytics - 17.3.1
firebase-config - 20.0.3
firebase-analytics - 18.0.2
Here is the stack trace of the crash in firebase JobInfoSchedulerService:
Fatal Exception: java.lang.RuntimeException: Unable to create service com.google.android.datatransport.runtime.scheduling.jobscheduling.JobInfoSchedulerService: java.lang.RuntimeException: android.os.DeadSystemException
at android.app.ActivityThread.handleCreateService(ActivityThread.java:4180)

at android.os.Looper.loop(Looper.java:241)
at android.app.ActivityThread.main(ActivityThread.java:7604)
at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Method.java)
at com.android.internal.os.RuntimeInit$MethodAndArgsCaller.run(RuntimeInit.java:492)
at com.android.internal.os.ZygoteInit.main(ZygoteInit.java:941)
The app does not use any of the API(s) in com.google.android.datatransport which comes with Firebase. Please help me understand and fix the underlying cause of this issue.

I released my app to Google Play and I can see a lot of fatal exceptions being logged to crashlytics, the stack trace is:

that's all I can see in the logs.. As you can see, the stacktrace does not have any code that belongs to my app, so there's no place where I can put a try/catch for example and I can't even reproduce this.
Any idea on how to fix this or at least reproduce the issue?
This app release was built with compose v1.3, but I could see logs from 1.3-beta as well...
Any help would be appreciated.
The following release(s) address this bug.

Ok! Updating to react-native-purchases 4.5.2 solves the problem!
Not able to run instrumentation test with android orchestrator,
I have followed developer doc and made same changes but it's not working.
Screen shot and logs are attached.

I had the same problem but with androidx orchestrator. I was getting the same exception but the package was different:
Caused by: java.lang.RuntimeException: Cannot connect to androidx.test.orchestrator.OrchestratorService.
I have found the description of possbile root cause in this github thread. There's an iteresting discussion, but it seems that there's no general solution for this yet.
For me the problem was caused by setting the target sdk to 30 and launching the app on an android 30 emulator. So launching tests on emulator with api < 30 resolved this.
I have an app with 100.000+ users and since Android 7 begun rolling out this stacktrace have begun showing up (only reported for Android 7.0). I use Ti SDK 5.5.1

Anyone who can point in any direction? I'm kinda lost as to the cause of this.
I'm trying to integrate MonkeyTalk automation into my pre-existing Android app that is built using gradle.
I followed the steps here: Android Studio and MonkeyTalk? and got the demo app working, but when I run it in my own application I get the following crash on the second screen. Any idea why this happens?
This particular stack trace is using L preview targeting SDK 19, but I've also seen a similar (less detailed) stack trace on a Galaxy S4 with SDK 18 on it.

Any idea what this means? I'm using Dagger for dependency injection, is that why it might not work?
You can try the latest version of the monkeytalk and i guess your problem will not occur again.
