How do I bring the ad down to the bottom? - android

Just add linear_layout and put your bottom navigation and banner-ad view into it.

I have just faced your problem but the only difference is I'm scrolling within listview. Anyway I think that solution can be applied on your recyclerview too.

NestedScrollView don`t scroll above 8 items

I was looking for a solution on the Internet, but did not find.
When i`m trying scrolling.
Scroll stops on 8 item and part 9 item.
I use NestedScrollView and tried ViewPager, but no much results

When my adapter have enough number of data (which inflating a much higher view than screen), the LinearLayout in AppBarLayout will collapse correctly. However, if there are few data, it will not collapse. I read the source code of AppBarLayout, but not find the code cause that.
Why it acts like that?

Just put you Linear layout into CollapsingToolbarLayout like this
