I've been stuck for a bit now, not being able to manage how to solve this error when adding Firebase to android app. No problem with iOS so far, but android has been quite a pain. Could anyone help me out please?
This is what my project-level build.gradle looks like:
buildscript {
repositories {
google()
jcenter()
}
dependencies {
classpath 'com.android.tools.build:gradle:3.5.3'
classpath 'com.google.gms:google-services:4.3.10'
}
}
allprojects {
repositories {
google()
jcenter()
}
}
rootProject.buildDir = '../build'
subprojects {
project.buildDir = "${rootProject.buildDir}/${project.name}"
}
subprojects {
project.evaluationDependsOn(':app')
}
task clean(type: Delete) {
delete rootProject.buildDir
}
And my app-level build.gradle looks like this:
def localProperties = new Properties()
def localPropertiesFile = rootProject.file('local.properties')
if (localPropertiesFile.exists()) {
localPropertiesFile.withReader('UTF-8') { reader ->
localProperties.load(reader)
}
}
def flutterRoot = localProperties.getProperty('flutter.sdk')
if (flutterRoot == null) {
throw new FileNotFoundException("Flutter SDK not found. Define location with flutter.sdk in the local.properties file.")
}
def flutterVersionCode = localProperties.getProperty('flutter.versionCode')
if (flutterVersionCode == null) {
flutterVersionCode = '1'
}
def flutterVersionName = localProperties.getProperty('flutter.versionName')
if (flutterVersionName == null) {

}

I have not been able to find an answer to this particular error message anywhere.
Thanks in advance
I have the error I put in the title and put below. The error occurs when building my flutter project. I created my project with the Android Max 2D Game app on my Samsung Galaxy A10. I build by codemagic.
Could not find method implementation() for arguments [com.google.android.gms:play-services-instantapps:17.0.0] on project ':app' of type org.gradle.api.Project.
I invite you to explore my project on Gitpod or fork on GitHub and submit a pull request fixing this error. Before submitting the pull request, see if CodeMagic builds correctly.

When I install the geolocator package in my Flutter project, I get the error in the first picture. When I set the minSdkVerison value to 21, the error changes and I get the 2nd error. But I guess the 2nd error has nothing to do with the geolocator because if I uninstall the geolocator package, I get that error when the minSdkVersion is 21. I tried flutter clean and set multiDexEnabled to true but it didn't fix. How can I solve this problem?

What version are you using for Firestore?
Set SDK to 21 and leave multidex as it was, version 21 handles it. Use the latest versions of geolocator and Firestore, based on your null-safety status.
I want to work with firebase and I changed build.gradle docs then when i try to run flutter app i see this commands in debug console.

I see this "connectplay_app is stopped then this choice is shown"repeat " .I click "repeat" button but anything isn't changing. I continue to wait for loading app on emulator or device.Why is it like this?Please help me and light to me. Thanks for your comments and sorry for my mistakes.
I am developing a flutter app with the barcode_scan library version ^0.0.3 but it generates issue when I am adding something and mark the keywords of the gradle file. It installs at the first time when I generate new Flutter project the default has been installed but when trying to use plugins it creates too much issues and not also migrated to AndriodX.
my gradle file is given below
def localProperties = new Properties()
def localPropertiesFile = rootProject.file('local.properties')
if (localPropertiesFile.exists()) {
localPropertiesFile.withReader('UTF-8') { reader ->

On path location projectname/android/gradle.properties the file should look like this:
android.enableJetifier=true
android.useAndroidX=true
org.gradle.jvmargs=-Xmx1536M
Try to remove barcode_scan library from pubspec.yaml and run:
flutter pub get
Then re-add the library and run the command again. I've had this problem before, maybe you're also facing the same bug.
Hope this will help you.
