Recently added my app to Google Play. Several people left reviews and ratings, and I even replied to some of the reviews. But the problem is that I don't see reviews on the app page. How can I solve this problem or do I need to wait?
From real life tests I realized the following:
if the user removes the app in the first week after reviewing it, the review will disappear
if the user did not open the app at least two times in the first week of installation, the review will disappear
if the user install the app and review it before opening the app, the review will disappear

So i did all the steps in the flutter_inapp_purchase: ^5.3.1 documentation i publish a close test of my app and added testers. i see the Consumable IAP loading in my app. But the problem am having is that when i click on the buy button it say item unavailable in you country and can't make a purchase. so i am stuck at this point for weeks now somebody please help
Please See ScreenShot Image
This one caught me too (for a couple of days). For me I needed to complete the section (on the App Dashboard) "select countries and regions" for the Release version of the app (even though I was only publishing to internal testing).
The reason is that the internal testing track is synced with the Release track.
After that, it still didn't work until I "Published" the changes on the "Publishing Overview" page. Which was quite nerve-racking because the app wasn't released and the wording makes it seem like the app will be published for users. That luckily wasn't the case, the "Publish" action just saves your changes to the available countries
After that the IAP worked correctly.
I hope this helps.
I've searched everywhere and even raised a support request with Google, but nothing helped so far. The Google support person didn't even understand the question and just wasted my time.
1. There seems to be a lot of confusion on this question. Here are some of the suggestions I've seen on SO which seem to come from an epoch when "pause track" wasn't available in the universe:
Remove all countries except one in which you don't expect any users (Didn't try)
Upload an empty APK to the Open Testing track (Not sure if this works in 2021)
Remove all testers (no option to do this in 2021 on Open Testing track)
2. But I went ahead and pressed the formal "pause track" button in Open Testing.
I took this route because the button is there and seems to tell me it's the right thing to do in 2021.
3. My question is as follows
Once the Open Testing track is paused, will old users' new reviews be visible in public? Will new users' reviews be visible in public?
4. A little bit of history to help you answer my question
We launched under the Open Testing track and got a lot of good reviews and ratings.
After several months we uploaded a new APK to the Production track and the Open Testing track got automatically moved to "Inactive". So far so good.
Our test users upgraded to the production app and started giving us reviews and ratings. But they are all ending up as "Testing Feedback", i.e., invisible to the public. So we have 0 public reviews.
Then I found out that I should pause the Open Testing track. I have paused it just this morning and the change is awaiting review. I will update when the review is done.
I'm asking my question in #3 above because I don't any longer believe Google understands Google Play better than Stackoverflow users.
There is no relation between your open testing and reviews,
if your app is live in-store anybody can review it, no matter you have paused the testing or not.
App does not showing in google play search and in developer profile.
Even though a few hours ago did it
It appears in the direct link:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.superswell.find.difference
But does not show in.
Search:
https://play.google.com/store/search?q=find%20the%20differences&c=apps
Others related searchs also, even though it did it until some days ago.
App Annie report also said it.
And by developer name doesnt show either:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=SuperSwell
App was released a few months ago and updated a few days ago on octubre 25 2018. -
It wasn't published recently
Google play developer page shows it "published" under status.
Price and distribution page shows it published.
Thanks for the help.
It seems you just have to wait, it's a temporary issue.
(like said in App not showing up in android market place/google play even though the initial condition are not the same)
I had the same issue. Yesterday everything was OK. Yesterday night my app wasn't showing anymore even on my developer listing page.
Now it seems your app and my app are appearing again.
Edit: I just refreshed your listing page and now your app isn't showing again. I refreshed again an now it's back... The fix is probably being propagated.
I have developed few apps, and published them on google playstore, but it is not showing number of installs to user and it's show on Google play console total install by user is more than 60 but not show on google playstore.
What's wrong in that, can you help me in that?
Look at this screenshot to understand my problem, there is no additional information shown for number of installs
My apps can be seen here. Place Finder
Have patience, it takes 2-3 days to show the number some time. So just wait, No action is needed from your side :)
So I accidentally published on Google Play (Oops, my bad, I thought I was submitting it for some sort of review), and 5 seconds later when I realized what I had done I immediately unpublished. I'm still waiting for the review for the iOS version and want to release both at the same time.
My developer console for the app has changed now, and it treats the app like an app that has been published (I can't replace the APK, can view stats, etc.)
So my question is this: Every day I wait am I losing precious visibility in the "New apps" feature page? Or when I republish in a few days will I appear at the top of the list as if I had just released that day?
I believe re-publishing does not affect the initial publishing date, so yes, you do lose "precious visibility", but just because your app is new, does not automatically mean it will be on top of the New Releases category. There are probably several other factors that are weighed in such as ratings or downloads. Also, publishing your application does put it through review. It's just significantly faster than the Apple app store and assuming it passes the review, it will get published.
