I currently have a Google Play Developer account as an individual. However I am starting my own company as a sole trader, so I need to move my payment profile from individual to business. Is there a way to do this without creating a new developer account and moving all my apps from one account to the other?
From the Play Console Help:
Choosing an account type
Google Play offers two developer account types: Personal and
Organization. Personal and organization accounts have access to the
same functionality and are able to monetize on Google Play using a
payments profile; the only difference is the information we collect
from you when you're setting up your account. You will be able to
change your account type if your circumstances change.

I want to transfer my app with subscriptions to another company, but it seems that it was not possible before, and the document of google is vague.
Does anyone know if it is still not possible or is there any good way to do that like transferring the developer account itself?
Transferring android app with subscription to another account
Android Developer Console - Change app owner
It is allowed nowadays! You can transfer apps with in-app subsriptions to a new developer account. And you need pay extra attention to linked project if you used Play Developer APIs to verify the purchases or used other integrated services. After the transfering process, the renewal orders will be visible in the Play Console under the new developer account while the previous orders will only be visible under your current account.
I'm working at company A and we're about to publish an app on behalf of company B. We have the code for both Android and iOS but we don't have accounts for Google Play Console or Apple Developer and neither does company B.
We want the publisher name in App Store and Google Play Store to be company B. So this is a two part question:
App Store:
I'm aware that you can have an organizational developer account but does this require company B to have their own account as well?
Google Play Store:
On this one I am totally lost. I have found no information about creating a Google Play Console account as a organization. Does it require you to have an enterprise account? What does it takes from company B?
I've tried to research this but I might have been searching for the wrong things.
If you want to publish On Behalf of Company B then Company B must have Apple developer account.
If you have credentials of the Company B then you don't need to purchase Developer Account for Company B(If you want to avoid two purchase)
If purchasing two account is not an issue or you don't have credentials to Company B then you can Assign your Company A as Developer in Company B and give rights at your that suits you the best.
I am an iOS developer i can just help you with Apple.
Is it possible to register as two people rather than an individual without setting up a company? I know you can register as an individual or a company, but I want to cooperate with a friend to make an app. Is that possible if we want to publish an app onto Google Play? If not, is there some other place we could do this, like Apple App Store?
There are two different access levels on the Google Play Developer Console: "Account owner" and "Users".
The account owner is the first account registered on the Google Play Developer Console. Account owners can add users, manage individual permissions, and remove user access. Users don't need to pay the $25 Developer registration fee to access the Developer Console.
Here's a summary of how account owners and users can use the Google Play Developer Console: https://support.google.com/googleplay/android-developer/answer/2528691.
I am developing an Android application for another company. I would like to release this application under my own Google Play account. The application will have in-app billing.
Can I have multiple Google Merchant accounts, so that in-app payments for one application would go into one account and in-app payments for another application would go into another account? What are other strategies to direct in-app payments for different applications under the same Google Play account into different bank accounts?
Similar question is asked here, however there is no definitive answer to the question.
I think if you want that you should setup seperate play accounts, or use a script to process the payout report so you know how much money is made where.
I am about to create Android Market Account. Lets say I have two accounts, account A and account B.
Can I use account A to pay android market registration fee of 25$ ?
Can I use account B to get money on sale of my app ?
From the Google Play support site:
At this time, Google Play Android Developer account and the Google Checkout Merchant account must be the same Google Account address.
However, depending on your needs, you may well be satisfied with the workaround I use:
Use account A to register and pay the $25 fee.
Add account B as a "Full Access" user in your Google Checkout settings.
Technically that satisfies both of your requirements, with the caveat that both accounts can access Google Checkout.
