uploading bundle in play store getting error - android

You uploaded an APK or Android App Bundle which has an activity, activity alias, service or broadcast receiver with intent filter, but without 'android:exported' property set. This file can't be installed on Android 12 or higher. See: developer.android.com/about/versions/12/behavior-changes-12#exported

changing target sdk to 30 worked for me.

There is an easy fix to this which is setting the max supported version with 30 instead of 31 in your build.gradle file/files
However to support 31:
From the documentation
**If your app targets Android 12 or higher and contains activities, services, or broadcast receivers that use intent filters, you must explicitly declare the android:exported attribute for these app components.
If the app component includes the LAUNCHER category, set android:exported to true. In most other cases, set android:exported to false.
**
<service android:name="com.example.app.backgroundService"
android:exported="false">
<intent-filter>
<action android:name="com.example.app.START_BACKGROUND" />
</intent-filter>
</service>
PS: I would suggest using the canary version of android studio and build your project because it's listing would show you the errors in the manifest.

From the looks of it one of your activities is not setting exported.
Replace
<activity
android:name="com.yalantis.ucrop.UCropActivity"
android:screenOrientation="portrait"
android:theme="#style/Theme.AppCompat.Light.NoActionBar"/>
and
<activity
android:name="com.facebook.FacebookActivity"
android:configChanges="keyboard|keyboardHidden|screenLayout|screenSize|orientation"
android:label="#string/app_name" />
with
<activity
android:name="com.yalantis.ucrop.UCropActivity"
android:screenOrientation="portrait"
android:theme="#style/Theme.AppCompat.Light.NoActionBar"
android:exported="true" />
and
<activity
android:name="com.facebook.FacebookActivity"
android:configChanges="keyboard|keyboardHidden|screenLayout|screenSize|orientation"
android:label="#string/app_name"
android:exported="true"/>

I solved the problem by running the app with Android 12. The console displayed which manifest file caused the error.
It was a manifest file from a plugin.
There are two options to solve the problem:
update the plugin, the problem might be solved with a newer version
add the 'android:exported' property to the file of the plugin

You uploaded an APK or Android App Bundle without 'android:exported' property set but already been set in manifest file

I do have a problem with my current flutter project. My project was already built in release and also I put also the correct keystore file and the targetsdkversion. Now, when I am uploading my app in the playstore it always shows android exported property set (which as I was already know how to solve it.) I set all the receivers and tags that uses intent-filter to android:exported' true or false. Now, the problem is when I upload it to playstore it still showing the android exported error. I tried to migrate it to android studio in order to modify the merged manifest but I am unable to do so because I doesn't show the merged manifest. I also tried to manually edit the one on the app/build/intermediates/merged_manifest folder but still same results. I am using latest flutter with dart for it. Any more tips for me to fix? Attached also here is my manifest file.

You have declared for your manifest file, although its weird it should not show this error if you did not use any third party library which could have services or receivers, Please look into manifest merger, it will be a tile below the manifest file when you open it. It will show you the final manifest file which will be included in your apk or aab file.
Side note: You dont need to set exported=true for the meta tags.
And try to use work managers to your background work instead of services, they give you a guarantee to execution of your code
