Android MQTT Application - android

My team is building an Android application which uses MQTT (Mosquito) to connect to a PCBs. We are seeing an issue where once a day (Sometimes more) it'll disconnect and we have to reboot the computer for it to reconnect. Haven't been able to pinpoint the issue but are able to see logs. Any thoughts on this?

It seems that crash is somehow related to WiFi, but Android emulator shouldn't have WiFi support anyway. What could be the issue here?
I managed to fix it myself. The problem seems to be due to com.android.settings.wfd.WifiDisplaySettings.isAvailable reporting that WiFi is available, while wifip2p service is absent. I went to WifiDisplaySettings.java:216 and replaced this check with false, so it won't try to locate the service. Now Settings can be opened properly.
Alter your WifiDisplaySettings.java in
/YoutAospRoot/packages/apps/Settings/src/com/android/settings/wfd/WifiDisplaySettings.java
Change the code snippet
public static boolean isAvailable(Context context) {
return context.getSystemService(Context.DISPLAY_SERVICE) != null
&& context.getSystemService(Context.WIFI_P2P_SERVICE) != null;
}
To
public static boolean isAvailable(Context context) {
return false;
}
Then
make systemimage
Maybe this can help too. I noticed that the Settings app is not crashing when building an clean Android 8 with lunch aosp_x86-userdebug instead of lunch aosp_x86-eng.

Android Things - Raspberry Pi Fails to Connect to Wifi

There are a few questions out there that have similar issues but none of the solutions help. I'm trying to connect an Android Things Raspberry Pi to Wifi. My 2.4 GHz wifi ssid is 'cake' and I even removed the passphrase to see if that would help. Here is what comes out in the logcat:

Here is what I'm typing in the adb shell
rpi3:/ $ am startservice -n com.google.wifisetup/.WifiSetupService -a WifiSetupService.Connect -e ssid cake
I had also some issues setting up the Wifi.
Blundell's answer to my question solved the issues
Network: Wi-Fi cannot connect to the internet if Ethernet is also
connected to a network without internet access.
https://developer.android.com/things/preview/releases.html
I had to remove the Ethernet cable from the Pi-3 and then it connected to my WiFi
If you have no application installed on the Pi you can observce your connectivity state by attaching an external display using the HDMI port (a monitor would do the job).
You should see a screen like this:

}
Used dependency is :

used plugin :

but not show any uploading message in debug console and firebase console after 24 hours,
So, whats wrong here ? please help.
Finally i resolved this problem by replacing tools:node="replace" to tools:node="merge" and add tools:replace="android:label" in menifest file.
Reference : FirebaseApp with name [DEFAULT] doesn't exist
For me this worked:
<meta-data
android:name="com.google.android.gms.version"
android:value="#integer/google_play_services_version" />
in the AndroidManifest.xml.
I've not specified any tools attribute.
There are a few things that could be going on here. You will see more diagnostic messages if you run:
adb shell setprop log.tag.FA VERBOSE
and if your test device has Google Play Services installed, also run:
adb shell setprop log.tag.FA-SVC VERBOSE
Those commands will display more information in your logcat. Are there any errors from FA or FA-SVC on application startup?

Embedded Crosswalk increase allocated memory on Android

I have a several web application that I want to be able to run through a webview in a native android application. I am currently embedding a crosswalk browser and loading the applications in that. It works great for some of the web applications but as the size of the web application increases I get errors that crash my android application.
Things I have tried:
android:largeHeap="true" - helped I was able to run larger web applications.
android:hardwareAccelerated="true" - helped I got better performance.
xwalk-command-line='--ignore-gpu-blacklist' in assets/xwalk-commandline - also helps
There are still some web applications (created through unity) that required me to allocate about 1Gb when I was creating them for desktop testing. I am will be using this android app on the newest phones and would be ok with such a high memory usage.
It works if I try to open this application on a desktop browser so that is what leads me to believe that it is a memory allocation issue. I am using crosswalk 17 which has webGL enabled and the smaller applications run webgl just fine.
I have a few questions:
Is there a way to force the crosswalk embedded browser to allocate 1GB of memory for itself. (I know this is going to crush my device and is probably not great but please indulge me)
Can I expand my application's memory usage beyond largeHeap. If so how? And do I need to do so to enable such large web applications?
Are there any issues that I am missing that are possibly masking the real issues here.
I know this type of application would only ever run on the newest kinds of phones. what are the repercussions for an application that has such a high memory usage?
Are there any other avenues I should explore to enable me to run large web applications within an android app?
