I'd like to make my own loading screen for android applications, probably to show it in a splash screen or during GUI updates.
I followed some tutorials and i was able to create a loading animation in AfterEffect. Than i can export it in any format with Adobe MediaEncoder.
I already tried to export it in a collection of Png files which i can show with android FrameAnimation, but i always get a Memory Error.
Which format should i use and how i can implement it in the android app?

I'm a beginner in android atudio, I recently make my first app, I put in many raw resources file(txt,mp3) that is why it's size is big (~200Mo).
I want to allow user to download what he need in order to benefit my service like listen to mp3 read text.
You should carefully consider why you need this much data in your app, remove all unnecessary parts and put everything you really need into the .apk as resource.
If I find some app is downloading 200MB to my phone, I'll uninstall that immediately.

I am writing an app in C++ that in has to lock the device at a specific moment in time, like if the user had pressed the lock button.
I found some java procedures like DevicePolicyManager that do what I want but didn't find anything that I can use in my C++ program. Does anyone know how this functionality can be implemented in C++ (besides the DevicePolicyManager, if there is another way)?

I have created an android application in which I want to add a feature for viewing ppts without he user having to download it first. As in, opening a ppt on the phone browser. Any help?
Can you elaborate better.
if what you mean is what i am thinking.
Maybe for a user to be able to view ppt files in your app.
Try using APIs, or ppt supported sdks. refer here

I want to make a simple side-scrolling platform game inn eclipse that can be played on my galaxy s3. I cant find any videos on youtube. Can you guys give me instructions or a link on how to start my project?
Do a Google search for 'Replica Island'. It is a side-scrolling game developed by one of the guys at Google, and the source code is available online.
He used OpenGL for rendering, but you could use a SurfaceView and Canvas instead.

I currently have a wordpress blog: www.androidfunandmore.info and I was wondering how do I go about making an android app for it?
The easiest way is to add the Mobile plugin to word press and then create a bookmark to it. This makes a web app (not a native app), but it looks good and it's easy.
